Good service

We ordered the chicken tikka masala and shrimp vindaloo and both were very good. We had a young man as our waiter and he was very attentive and friendly. The decor was pretty much what I have seen in most Indian restaurants. I am from out of town but would eat here again when in town.

I'm pretty sure this restaurant pays people to write them nice reviews. I'll tell you about my experience, and it will have you thinking twice about coming here. I thought I'd give the food a shot even though the location is sketchy, but it wasn't worth it because I ended up with an upset stomach. I'm not a fan of... More

I had never had Indian food before I came here and now it seems I can't stop coming back. Their food is so fresh and obviously cooked with skill and a love for their food. Even better is that the same gentleman is always there when I come in and I ask him to give me a different one of... More

We were the only party there, six of us. Service was good, but the food slow in arriving, perhaps because of many complex dishes ordered. The food was good, but not great. The whole place, especially carpets, needs cleaning or updating.

There better places to eat than this place in Spokane. The food was bland and the young man that served us was slightly rude:( The 4 star review fooled us into trying it. We won't be back. Bad/dingy location. The only reason why I'm not giving it one star is because their samosa was good.

I am always looking for someplace small and local to eat lunch, especially in a hurry. I have been by this place many a times. Lunch buffet was reasonable at 9.99 and variety was good. I was seated quickly and was attended to regularly, ie clearing plates, refills, etc. Buffet variety was excellent and fresh. All items were hot and... More

After eating at Taste of India and having a horrible meal... we gave up on Indian food for a while. Then we found Swagat... the location is a little weird and hard to find. But we've really liked the food and enjoy the friendly staff. The chicken & vegetable Pakoras, the Rogan Josh, Aloo Gobi and the Tikka Masala are... More

It's a shame that people are selling anything on the name of Indian food. This place deserves zero stars. They were serving old, stale food. Buffet was empty. We were so disgusted that we walked out of the restaurant. It was such a waste of time. People craving Indian food should ask their Indian friends before arriving at such places.... More
