I've lived within a few short miles of the Thrifty Scotsman Drive-in for more than a couple of decades and just recently stopped in to check it out, and I've been missing out. I've been back a good half dozen times now in the past year. The burgers are big and tasty as are their milkshakes. The prices are a... More

I ate at this little family joint in Spokane and it was good. I got the Scotsman Burger and small fries for $5.52. For the price it was great. The burger has a slice of ham on it along with cheese, Mayo and the normal toppings. The fries were thick cut, were very hot and had not sat around. When... More

The food here is as good as it get's in the fast food world. It's privately owned. Just a single location only 'mom & pop' drive-in. The employees are always polite and friendly. The food is plentiful and delicious. The tartar is one of three of the best recipes IN THE COUNTRY. I've been coming here since I was just... More

A must. If your looking for good food on a budget than a super bacon or super ham with a large french fry is what you are looking for. A sure case of eyes being larger than the stomach while keeping cash in your pocket.

Stopped in for a quick bite during the summer. Everything I had tasted like it was basted in grease before they served it. Fries were cold and soggy, burger was dry and flavorless. Will never stop in again.

We stopped here on our drive cross country and we were very pleased with the food, service, and the cost! My brother found this place on Urbanspoon and I'm glad we gave it a shot. My Scotsman burger (patty with ham) was $3.50 and my onion rings were some of the best I've had in forever. Word of caution they... More

Reminds me of the ol dairy queens in 60's - foods good fresh & always fair in prices . They do make great burgers .

I don't know, I suppose... I don't know why people make such a fuss over this totally pedestrian burger joint. I've been there twice, and it just doesn't move the meter. Last time I went with two of my kids. We each had a bacon cheese burger basket, and SPLIT a large strawberry shake. It was $28! How thrifty! And... More

It's amazing that Thrifty's is not on TripAdvisor yet. It's on Yahoo and Google travel and has great reviews with them. Hopefully you guys can add it. Here's the skinny: They go under the radar, no advertisements, no big signs...just a small building in a run down area of Spokane Valley. They are a staple in the community and have... More
