We had a pair of tasty pizzas here with a few glasses of average red wine. Nice ambiance in the square with particularly excellent service. This town is quite ancient for the area, worth checking out.

I visit the Cheiron for different things. Sometimes for a coffee when out cycling and sometimes a quick beer, but recently I took my family there for my Dad's 80th. Margarite and her staff were lovely friendly and the food was very well cooked and prepared. It is a fun place to eat, not to formal but with quality where... More

The late, great Michael Winner visited Le Cheiron a few years ago so it was inevitable that I would eventually turn up here. We arrived by bicycle, ready for replenishment, although not for a full lunch. Marguerite and Patrick were delightfully welcoming and not at all put out by our request for a simple sandwich, before continuing our ride. We... More

We intended to have lunch in Greolieres after a couple of hours cycling and we stopped at LeCheiron. From the moment we stopped, we have been looked after. From simple gestures (you can leave your bike there or there) to magnificent food. I had a pasta with mixed salad, which was just stunning. We enjoyed every second, despite the fact... More

Friendly, relaxed and wonderful food. We went 4 times in one holiday! Really charming staff, made recommendations and had a bit of banter. Great pizza, local cheeses and bread were delicious - we were even introduced to the baker who was eating there one night! Chocolate moose and lemon pie were firm favourites, will definately go back if we are... More

My wife and I decided to give the cooker a rest and decided to eat out in greolieres. We decided to eat at Le cheiron as we had a week left of our stay in the village we intended to try each of the villages restaurants and as auberge was closed. Service was just how you would like, attentive, quick,... More

Stopped last night on the way home and were very agreeably surprised by the choice of food and the quality of what we chose. The service was excellent and the prices very reasonable. They also serve Leffe pression! Definitely on our local favouite list.

In the center of the village, you will find the "Cheiron", a charming little restaurant! Not to miss the homemade pasta of the chef , the pizza with the local goat cheese (of the next door village "Cipières"),the large choice of deserts, the good beer on tap! .... You will have to go at least twice! Besides the Tramisu and... More

The owners Marguerite and Patrick are very friendly - we've been here more than once and they always remember you and greet you like old friends. Big fan of the snail cassoulet and their mixed grill is delicious if you're a meat lover with big appetite.
