Went there for a nice evening meal. What a disappointment. It was full of drunken idiots watching football. The food took ages to arrive. When it did it was awful. We complained and were basically told go somewhere else if you don't like it. The bill was astronomical but we refused to pay and left. Do not go there !!!!

One of our favourites. Always entertaining - Gino, the owner is from Naples and is very entertaining, and his wife Stella is lovely. Good food, especially when Gino cooks it himself. Nice family atmosphere. Keep an eye on the bill, though, it can creep up steeply if you have quite a lot of drinks.

spent a Saturday night recently, singer was told to pack his bags cos not enough diners, Gino had massive hump, not welcoming at all, carried on drinking and chatting, stunned at final bill over 100 euros for three people, no starters, main courses only, 1 pudding, 3 bottles of wine 2 espresso 2 brandies. Food not all that either. Maybe... More

We decided to go here as we were staying nearby and could not really be bothered walking too far one evening, thank goodness we were so lazy! The food and service here is first class and very reasonably priced. We shall definitely return any time we are in the area.

We found this restaurant on our last night in Calahonda otherwise we would sure would have returned. The staff were very friendly and even sent out for Sword fish as my daughter wanted this. The prices were also very good as was the food.

This cafe is now on the ground floor of the El Zocco centre below the Supersol supermarket and is open from 0900 until 2300 most days - cheaper than many of the nearby restaurants but friendly with good service and good quality food. Good for a rest and relaxation before walking back up the hill to our resort!

You could walk past this little cafe and miss a true local gem! Gino and Stella make you fell so welcome. The food was the best we've eaten in the area and they were happy to adapt the menu to suit the veggie members of our group. Drinks were generous and the waiters attentive. Stunning, will definitely return. Highly recommended.

There are actually two Cafe Stellas (presumably owned by the same people) My review is about the one next to the roadtrain stop. Have used the cafe lots of times over the past few years whilst visiting friends who live in Calahonda. Have only ever had snack & drinks here but the service is always good & the drinks &... More
