Good pub food

Great service, and excellent choice of beers and delicious pub food. The beefsteak and mushroom pie was substantial and well presented.

Me and my partner love this place, we generally go in for lunch time dining and take our dog who is always made to feel welcome. We ordered a T-Bone Steak for my partner this was cooked perfectly, tasted awesome and the portion size was great too and I had ham, egg and chips which was equally as delicious and... More

Lovely village pub serving good pub food, home cooked with care . The portions are generous, served with a smile and with no distracting music or children. Good beer too.

Just lovely to find an adult only pub. Great friendly atmosphere. Lovely staff making sure everything was as you would wish it to be. Great food, very generous portions. Nice to see a lot of people with their very well behaved dogs, also enjoying their night out making new friends. Thoroughly enjoyed our evening at this new found gem.

Discovered this pub on a recent day out and was looking forward to a quiet lunch and a decent pint. My wife took our 9 month old baby to the table and I approached the bar, only to be told that children weren't welcome. I asked the barman if he could recommend a similar pub in the area and he... Make your way around to The Plough Inn for lunch after you have stopped in to The North Somerset Butterfly House for a wander amongst the miraculous miriads of colour. We were warmly greeted by the bargirl and by the landlord. A fine choice of cask ales lined the back of the bar and the varied menu included locally sourced... More

Lovely atmosphere, very attentive service and great pub food! The haddock starter with a poached egg is my favourite and I've had it twice now. The mains were very good too. My business partner had a steak and although it wasn't me eating it, it looked perfectly cooked and he thoroughly enjoyed it. The only complaint was when it came... More

Second time eating here whilst staying close by before flying out from Bristol Airport. It has been busy on both occasion we have been there so I would advise making a booking so as not to be disappointed. The specials board has great choice aswell as the menu being plentiful. Definitely worth a visit!
