We decided to try the 2 Rump Steaks and a bottle of wine for £25 offer on Tuesday and Wednesday evening. Excellent choice! Good job we booked a table the offer is popular, and for good reason. We found the steaks cooked well to order, tasty, served by a very pleasant young waitress. We look forward to returning to try... More

The best experience of a village pub I've ever come across. The two evenings my friend and I spent here were filled with much laughter provided by friendly, chatty locals. Accompanied by amazing food and cider, served by polite and friendly staff, you just can't go wrong. Watch out, we're back in August!

A warm welcome from not only the staff but also the locals. We were made to feel very much at home. We had dinner both nights in the pub - and the food is wonderful. All freshly prepared and cooked - not a microwave ping to be heard for miles!

We were there on the steak night, fabulous rump steaks, done exactly as we wanted and not microwaved and then put on a grill for seconds! Oh yes some places do that! And the taste was TASTY! The waitresses were lovely as well, bit of banter. Sent our thanks to the chef. The desserts were good as well. Real old... More

Lovely little village pub, very welcoming and well run. Lovely atmosphere and very relaxed. Reasonably priced and a wide variety of food and beverages. Several different guest ales for those with a pallet for real ale and an extensive wine list. Tapas menu looks excellent.

Lovely pub, excellent variety of food and wonderful staff. However due to it being situated in such a remote location, it is a little off putting to be stared at like an animal in a zoo, when you first walk in. Reasonably priced and lovely atmosphere. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
