Great service

The out door seating was wonderful in the warm sun. The food and service were good. The drinks very refreshing on a sunny evening.

Chose to eat here after a day on the beach and fancied something wholesome. We were not disappointed. My husband had a steak pie and I had pan fried fish, which was done as I requested as I do not eat dairy. We both asked for roasted and steamed vegetables which were on the menu but not necessarily with my... More

We were a group if eight for dinner. Two were happy with their meals but the rest of us weren't. One didn't get their meal, another arrived cold and took forever to come back, one returned theirs. Mine, the roast was only a TV dinner reheated, or so it seemed. There were only four wine glasses in the bar which... More

Found a place just out of the Mount with a descent tv, went there to watch New Zealand play Aussie in the pool rounds of the ICC cricket world cup, nice enough place, the staff were good even though one of the girls gave me the wrong order of beer, worth a visit if there is a sporting event on... I made the metake of asking for a local beer in an Irish bar - and will never doit again. Anyway, at NZ$8 a large glass I enjoyed the lager and will tell all and sundry about how good it was / is. PLease go try it - even if you do not like beer. They do sell bottles of... More

Dinner with a large group of friends. As expected food was exceptionally average and one of the Irish pies was cold when it arrived on the table. Staff extremely friendly and were keen to have a chat and a laugh. During the visit played pool, darts, karaoke and even managed to have a stab on the pokies. Recommend the place... More

I've only been to Rosie's a couple of times and neither have been a particulary good experience. The first time we just went to play pool and have a couple of drinks; the place had only 2-3 other people inside (on a Saturday night you'd expect more!) and no atmosphere at all. There was also a massive hole in the... More
