Never disappoints

One of the top restaurants in Manila! It's not cheap though, so be warned. Having said that, my wife and I have been here three times and the food is always worth what you pay for. They keep changing menus often (my favorite tri-tips with foie gras is gone) so expect things may be different if you... read more

My bf brought me here for a surprise Valentine's date a few years ago and it has been etched in our memory as one of the best dinners we've ever had! It's a bit pricey though but hey, Valentine's comes only once a year. ;D

would like to give a 'good' review however next is 'very good' which for the value I don't think its fitting. The lobster is very tasty and all other meals I have had here have been nice but not worth the price tag. In saying that though, when you are struggling to find good food in Manila you don't mind... I took some VIP clients to Aubergine for dinner and the experience overall was positive. Here's my detailed review. Reservation - the receptionists who answer the phone to take your reservation speak and understand English well. Nothing irks me more than front desk personnel who struggle with English. Our conversation was quick, efficient and they provided answers to all my... More

We were a group of 10 for dinner, and the bill came to about $60 equivalent per person, wine and tip included. This is just about the highest-end restaurant pricing you will find in the entire country, along with a few 5-star hotels. The main courses are up to the high prices, but the starters were weak. They cost $10-25... More

To be fair about it, I have eaten in Aubergine several times before, and it has good food. That is why I have chosen to treat my family of 12 persons here to initiate the young ones to good gourmet food. However, if it can provide bad service to a big group and a returning customer at that, then how... More

Had the degustation menu with steak option, cheese course and wine pairing, and more wine. This was my third time dining in Aubergine in as many trips to Manila over the past one year plus. Really excellent and memorable experience each time.

We had a lovely meal, the attention to detail was very good. The food delicious. Good wine list. I found the waiting staff a bit "hovering" but we were the last people in there so they had no one else to look after. However, Aubergine let itself down by the lack of hand washing facilities in the ladies loo. Dry... More

I had a wonderful dinner at Aubergine. The oysters were sensational as a starter. The salads and soups are wonderful, and the steak was excellent. It was a great evening and I was pleasantly surprised by the menu and the quality of the food.
