As Good As I Remembered It To Be

We ordered the Kare Kare, fried fish, crispy pata, bibingka, ube and turron. Everything was cooked to perfection. The kare kare was deliciously peanuty, the fish and pata were both fried just right (crispy but still moist in the center), and the desserts were just as good. If I have any... read more

My partner's family often go to Abe in Serendra so he thought to take me there for dinner last weekend! Thank God i agreed! Food was absolutlely delicious! I thought it was great that the staff remembered him. He liked their beef steak very much and although it was no longer on their menu, they cooked it again especially for... More

We were served by a cheerfuly and bubbly Lian. She took time to explain the local dishes and gave some good recommendation. We went for the fried tilapia, bamboo rice and some green mango appertiser. Tilapia is alright. Bamboo rice is good, my colleague love it. The fragrance, taste and whole presentation which includes a song percussion serve up by... More

If you want to try Filipino food - true dishes, not so "fusion" - Abe's is a good choice. Can be a bit noisy as it is more family oriented than the upscale fusion establishments, but that noise is usually the joy of eating a good meal. The fried tilapia (binukadkad Na pla pla) is a frequent order, as is... More

Went here for lunch on our very first date. The offerings were good, and they have generous servings of rice! We spent more than a couple of hours here as the ambiance created the mood for more and more chats. Would definitely go back to try their other dishes. :)

Used to love the food in Abe but the food has somewhat deteriorated. Still like the sinuteng (baby squid cooked in garlic) but everything else is just average.

We ordered the pork binagoongan and the gising-gising which went really well together. The saltiness of the pork was balanced out by the sweet and spicy of the coconut milk of the gising-gising. I also asked for them to combine the avocado and mango shake then serve as 2 drinks. Superb service as well.
