Place was packed when we went. Lucky to get a table. This would have been my first try at Filipino cuisine. Took forever for the service staff to serve us whether its the menu or placing of order. Barely a smile and full of impatience. Patronising tone to my colleague who was bringing us out for dinner. Food took a... More

Went for dinner to let an Irish colleague try out Filipino cuisine. We were ushered in earlier than the time for which we reserved a table, so that's a plus. We had Kare Kare, Pinakbet, Chicken Adobo with bananas, Shrimp with Coco milk and Pork Sinigang with Ube. The food was good but not really outstanding - the broth of... More

Big selection of pork and seafood on the menu. If you don't like pork and seafood, you will struggle here. Waiter 'misunderstood' order and delivered more food than we ordered resulting in higher bill ... and higher service charge... hmmmmmm.

I've always wanted to try Philippine food, and this place serves great dishes. Everything was tasty and had lot of sauces. Something new to try. The kids liked the dessert.

I love this place. Been here with my family and with my boyfriend and his parents and they are Swedish. All of them loved the food here! Gising Gising is my personal favorite, love their bamboo, crispy tadyang and more.

Treated by friend and family, they ordered the authentic Filipino food. Thus restaurant is part of LJC group. Binukadkad NA crispy plapla is so crispy yet not too dry. Green mango salad is refreshing. Purple yam soup with shrimp is unique but a little too salty for my taste. Oxtail dish is so good even without the shrimp paste condiment. Fresh... More

I ate here for dinner with an expat colleague in early December. Due to its proximity to international companies' offices in the Fort area, it's become the go-to, decent place for locals to bring their foreign guests or colleagues to try out Filipino food. Quality hasn't changed since I last ate here, so I agree that bringing guests here is... More

The deep fried fish was excellent. Also the garlic shrimps or prawns. A bit crowded because of its popularity with the BGC crowd. I like the concept of unlimited rice served piping hot.

I grew up in the states. My experience with Filipino food was nothing fancy. It was always in places in the bay area (SF) or in Seattle that were small restaurants with the bare artistic design necessities. Nothing fancy. Everything simple. Fairly inexpensive. When I come back to visit with my family, we still ate at the similar style of... More
