Recommended by a colleague while here on a short business trip for its fantastic Philippine cuisine. Popped by for a visit with the wife and were guided through the menu by one of the delightfully friendly staff. Ended up with three excellent dishes (rice is served for free) and two fresh mango juices. Total came to around 1800 php and... More

Filipino food it not known for being among the world's best cuisine, but this place serves the best of what the cuisine has to offer. Go for the lamb adobo and bamboo rice. Try the Bicol express and finish with the halo halo. If you've never had Filipino food before because all you've heard about is balut, this is the... More

This was quite a surprise. I really liked dining here. Abe is kapampangan for companion or friend and this filipino (with spanish influence) restaurant serves one of the best local cuisine in town. The place and atmosphere definitely gives you the historic filipino-spanish vibe. The area is amiable, refreashing and well-maintained. The food is real good. Some of the dish... More

Read all these fantastic reviews about Abe and thought I better give it a try when I was back in Manila. Seriously, I am not sure who has been writing some of the recent reviews, the food is nothing special, a twist on traditional Filipino cuisine served luke warm by slow service staff. The place was fairly busy when I... More

An Australian, a Japanese and an American are taken to Abe Restaurant by Filipino colleagues - the result? A fantastic chance to experience Filipino food and to see what has become of the former military base at Fort Bonifacio. Now an outdoor shopping, eating and residential development, it houses an extensive range of eating options. This restaurant is part of... More

Must try the fern salad (pakò) with salted egg. Rice cooked in bamboo is great. We tried fish and prawns, they are good. Desert is great.

This is my second visit in Abe and definitely it has been one of my fave Filipino resto in Taguig. Bukadkad na pla-pla, Bamboo rice, Gising Gising, Sinigang sa bayabas Bangus Belly are highly recommended. Tamarind or Watermelon cooler are both winners! I truly miss this place when I head back home to NJ. Definitely, this resto should be a... More
