The restaurant is located in a picturesque square. The atmosphere at the sunset is magical. Seafood is amazing, by long the best I have ever had. Don't expect a cheap price, but I would have no hesitation in recommending to dine here.

It was amazing in every level. Breathtaking view of the sea, the food was so delicious we went back the very next day. Unforgettable food. Thank you La Cialoma, grazie Mille!

This was a very special place where food magic takes place, 4 women gaze into a cauldron of endless flavours. Its not cooking as we know it, its alchemy! What was served to me was a layered senual experience. I've eaten all over the world and this is special. Go!

I was there on Saturday night, before Easter. The menu was simply amazing with super fresh fish and a very impressive wine list. I went with my GF we had 2 starters, 1 pasta and 1 main 2 coffees a bottle of sparkling water and a bottle of wine for 100 euro that I find quite impressive for such a... More

We visited on a chilly April evening in Easter week. The setting is very attractive and the small inside dining room looks and feels the part for an atmospheric seafood restaurant: light blues and whites, tiles, a full view into the kitchen, and neat little table cloths on old pine tables. The food we had was generally above average. The... More

We ate here yesterday. We hadn't expected much from Marzememi. Half a sentence in Lonely Planet didn't inspire us. But it's lovely. Old fishing village with a nice beach and lots of restaurants. We chose this one because it offered some shade and was full. No menu to read so we were a bit alarmed when we were given the... More

Marzamami was very quiet at the end of the season in late October. The only busy place was the taverna Cialoma and one could see why: we had an excellent seafood lunch there and some very good local wine to go with it. The plaza was empty apart from a sleeping dog who was photographed by every one of the... More

Make no mistake, La Cialoma is not the place to find a bargain meal but what it achieves is to raise familiar Sicilian seafood dishes to new heights and, having eaten here over the last 5 years or so during an annual trip to the island I am yet to be disappointed. A recent development has been the creation of... More

Located in a beautiful square, this taverna has a great ambience even in low season. The kitchen is open plan between two dining rooms which allows you to see everything being cooked fresh. Outside there are c. 12 to 16 tables. While the kitchen is small the chefs seem quickand efficient and enjoying themselves. More than can be said of... More

We came across the taverna when visiting Marzamemi and everything else was closed except for a cafe. We chose to sit inside, open to the kitchen, made for an entertaining lunch. The food was excellent, the Gambero marinato were delicious, raw prawns marinated in Orange and lime, with olive oil drizzled over, simple and amazing. Pasta with red mullet again,... More
