Visited a few times whilst on holiday, food was always good as was the service and the beer, friendly staff and our dog was also welcome. 5*
We had a meal without booking, when asked the man behind the bar replied yes, but the twists and turns of his story to get to that answer was completely entertaining, he has a terrific sense of humour! I realised this applied to other members of the staff who carried on joking about in the same manner, I thought this... More

I ate here with my wife and 3 young children whilst on holiday and was not disappointed. The serving staff were brilliant, they let us move table and were great with the kids. The food was great and the ale selection is local and fantastic. Thanks for a lovely evening

We were served two of the same dishes, though we'd ordered two different ones. As there were no staff in sight for about 15 minutes, I eventually just ate mine. Our drinks didn't... More
