Lovely little find. walked and was found a table for 7 people. All of us enjoyed our meal in lovely surroundings with friendly staff. Actually made us forget that we were staying in awful Pontins for a few hours. Not to expensive and very clean. I would definitely return.

A group of four went here on Sat for a spot of lunch. I had fish and chips and the Scallops/Chorizo dish. The fish was incredibly fresh and beautifully cooked as were the Scallops. Can't fault it at all. Lovely chips too. Great service and lovely food. Will definitely be back for a visit next time I head that way.... More

My family and I stayed for a weeks holiday at the Camber holiday resort. On our last day, we drove past the Rye Bay Café on our way to the beach, I noticed all the red brollies outside blowing gently in the wind, it looked great, so we stopped the car and I went inside to enquire about booking an... Such a lovely place to eat. The staff were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The owner was happy to sit & talk to us & explained that due to the size of the restaurant & kitchen that he would rather cook a limited amount of excellent meals than cook meals on mass not to the same standard.... We ate there a couple of times and it was ok. They allow dogs in so ours was able to sleep under the table as we ate. Service was great (under no pressure). Booking is "essential" for the early evening as they really only do one sitting. We watched a few people being turned away later in the evening despite... More
