The restaurant was unexceptional. The food was unexceptional. The pizza was unexceptional. The wine was unexceptional. The service was unexceptional. The ambience was unexceptional. The experience was unexceptional. The evening was unexceptional. All in all exceptionally unexceptional! Sorry.
This used to be the old Post Office building and still has some of the old post boxes inside. The decor is really lovely. Usual Zizi menu and always offers available. Pizza pasta salads etc. Staff always seem friendly, but seem to disappear when you need something or need the bill.
Went to Zizzi in Camberley on Sunday (two days before) and it was not brilliant for the group overall ...my pizza excellent. So don't ask why two days later I went back to the same chain, this time in downtown Surbiton. Ok Tesco vouchers had something to do with it as I had a few quid left over. This time... More
I visited on a Friday evening in a party of 11 people. Service was ok given how busy it was, but not great. It took about half hour for water and glasses to arrive and not op up of water bottles. Wine not great. I ordered one of the new pizzas and half and half with crab and prawns. I... More
Away for a match. Needed a quick dinner. Fully booked, but the manager gave me a table booked later in the evening. Usual Zizzi quality. Good service.

My partner's pasta was bland and tasteless. Mine was linguine with Italian sausage - it tasted great but there was only 1 tiny slice of... More
Visited Zizzi Surbiton on a recent Sunday night and it appeared only one waiter was on shift with a manager helping to run tables. The food was excellent, I'd recommend the Calzone. With the restaurant feeling understaffed - one of the chefs was making the food and delivering to the tables to help the waiter. The atmosphere felt chaotic, with... More
\i was in Surbiton on business and was invited to have dinner at Zizzi's. We all had something different. Around the table were skinny pizzas, Tuscan pizza and rissotos. Everyone had a great meal. It was fresh, hot out of the oven and we were well attended to by the waitress. They do value local businesses coming in for dinner... More
A couple,of months ago I visited this restaurant with a girlfriend, mid-week for lunch. Hardly any customers were in there which I thought was odd, as the atmosphere had always been busy. So, we waited to be served, and we waited, and we waited....a male, who appeared to be the manager was sitting only a few feet away engrossed in... More
