Great Menu, something for everyone, new owners have an exciting update to the menu planned. Desserts looked amazing, although I was too stuffed to partake :( !!

Such a shame as it's a beautiful building - idyllic location with HUGE potential... But sadly after visiting a couple of times come away with the same drab feeling. Both times my partner and I have eaten and the food is ok. Mind you both times they had a limited menu as they had run out of a lot of... More

We visited Fossebridge in 2012 and it was superb so we decided to go back there. This time it wasn't so good, which mainly was down to the service. I think people were doing their best but it seemed to be very muddled and the staff were stressed out. The food would have been nice but was cold when it... More

I had the chicken pie, chips and veg and my wife had beef pie and mash. The food was fantastic high quality apart from the chips which where cheap French fries which are the same as mcdonalds standards. This is the only reason I have Marked it down from a five star status. The pub has a lot of character... More

As I am sure many before me have commented this is an idilic setting for a pub but service and quality together with over priced food is its downfall. I waited just under 5 minutes for the bar staff to pull a pint of their guest beer. First attempt 20% beer the rest froth. Second pint 40 % beer and... More

Called here for Sunday lunch with my son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren. Gardens are lovely and the sun was shining. Took a while for my son to get served with drinks then when food came it was nicely presented on the plates and the vegetables came separate in a dish. Upon asking if there would be more vegetables coming we were... More

Having been away for a lovely weekend in Bath, we wanted to have a nice lunch before driving back home. We past The Inn at Fossebridge and from the road it looked lovely. It is in a lovely spot - with beautiful grounds. There was a handful of people sat outside and it wasn't busy at all. Looking at the... More

Had dinner with two friends after long walk around Chedworth area. Only drank shandies since I was designated driver - too much bitter in second pint but easily remedied. Only one lady serving at bar and taking meal orders, which made her a bit stressed but she coped pretty well. Good variety of food on menus (separate fish menu as... More

Great views from the outdoor seating at the rear of the pub and on a sunny day it is worth a visit. Service was slow though and the coffees on the pricey side, ditto the food.
