Super Bike Stop

Splendid cycle stop in the Howardian Hills on a cold sunny day. Had the home made soup, coffee and piece of cake for just less than £10. Broad menu choice and attentive and friendly service. Could be heading up from York again.

Unable to comment on this establishment. We followed the direction signs from the Helmsley Road but on arrival found it closed. Pity the opening times are not displayed on these notices which would save a pointless detour. It's on the website but I don't carry tablets etc with me and can't hope to remember the details for another occasion. Dutch... More

M + I enjoy the Dutch House each time we go, so have been taking different people there when they visit us. This time we had M's mum and her partner - mum has coeliac disease and was delighted with the option of gluten-free pancakes. We all had savoury pancakes for lunch then enjoyed the art gallery.

Appreciate freshly prepared food but this was far too slow. As it was Christmas weekend cant... More

This was my second visit to the Dutch House and I've really enjoyed it both times. The staff team are very friendly and the overall atmosphere is relaxed. I had a Gouda and apple pancake with a substantial side salad, which was really yummy. My other half had the soup of the day (courgette and aubergine) with really nice bread,... More

Lovely clean and roomy cafe. Friendly staff and gorgeous pancakes. You have a wait a little while as the pancakes are made fresh but it was well worth it. Will certainly be going back to try some other fillings.

Four of us broke our journey for some refreshments on a Thursday dinner time. The Dutch House had lots of interesting exhibits and the café was nice and clean. The staff were very friendly and obliging. The food was very tasty and not overpriced. Well worth a visit.

As a family we enjoy going to the Dutch Barn as it almost feels like being abroad. The pancakes are always freshly cooked with an interesting variety of fillings, and their cakes are excellent. Added to the good and mainly locally sourced food, there are various paintings and crafts on display, nice magazines to read sitting on the sofa and even... More

I went here for lunch with my mother in law today. Fantastic welcome, dogs allowed, friendly owners and scrummy pancakes. Can't wait to go again.

Good simple food and pancakes in these converted farm buildings near Crayke. Serving good coffee, hotchocolatte, sandwiches, soup and their speciality pancakes. Garden and arty stuff to keep the kids entertained. Friendly atmosphere though service can be a bit erratic. Nie walks in teh area too.
