Because of the short opening times we called in at lunchtime and booked a table for later in the evening. Nice little place the lady serving us was possibly the owner with her husband the chef, she recommeded some good beers and the crepes were very good both savoury and sweet. Ideal place to take youngsters..

It is well worth seeking out this hidden treasure which can be uncovered to the rear of the main town square. Lashings of hearty fare ( well, crepes actually) in a pirate-themed den full of memorabilia. The serving-wench and cook were very friendly and entertaining, and suitably costumed. Brandishing weapons is not allowed so leave your cutlass and flintlock at... More

Looking for a light lunch in Bram, we were surprised to find that a crepe restaurant was at the top of TA’s list. Crepes salée (salty), called Galletes, do make a good light lunch. The dark buckwheat flour galette is a flavorful base beneath your favorite selection of cheese, ham, egg, mushrooms, onions, or vegetables. We went, and were delighted... More

We stumbled across this lovely little Pirate themed Creperie whilst visiting the Wednesday morning Market in Bram. It was one of the few restaurants we were able to find whilst in rural France that stayed open to serve lunch after 1pm - most shops and restaurants shut up shop for the afternoon at about then and re-open about 4.30pm. The... More

We had an excellent meal here, the welcome was second to none and there is a good selection of Breton style crepes together with beers and ciders from that region. The decor is well thought out and pleasing, the service friendly, efficient and helpful. They even have a menu in English - so what you might say as we can... More

I enjoy visiting this Breton creperie in the town of Bram. Very friendly owners, nice crepes (big range) and good cider!

I often cower at the thought of themed restaurants, but La Filibuste captured by my tummy and my imagination. The French just have great style - the pirate theme is definite, but very tasteful, and the owners have put a huge amount of thought into the ambience the restaurant creates - right down to the research they've done into the... A welcome addition to the Bram area. La Flibuste offers good food and good value. A range of crepes Breton style, both savoury and sweet together with a choice of beer, wine and cider from Brittany. Very friendly and helpful service with a pirate themed decor satisfied all the diners, including can-be-fussy teenagers. As ex-pats living locally we'll be back... More

This small creperie, in a village in the Aude near the Canal du Midi, has a relatively modest menu which is distictively Breton. The food is good; the wine, beer and cider all from the Breton region is very drinkable, the service excellent, the owners friendly and the decor on a piracy theme appropriate to the restaurant's name. I did... More
