Everything is just right and great at Canoa. Food is fantastic, service is excellent, ambience is perfect. It's sitting on the harbor, right on the water. Love Canoa!

Terrific little restaurant--perfect location & great atmosphere if you are staying in oyster pond or at the westin dawn beach. The plantain appetizer is amazing--its like plantain parmigiana..not like any combination I have ever tasted before. Roxy was a fabulous waitress. Highly recommend.

This place was a last minute decision for the family and we were so lucky to not have to wait for seats. Our host and waiter were wonderful employees of the restaurant and gave fantastic responses to all of our questions. They did apologize for our wait on food but it was no trouble at all to us because we... More

Making reservations was not an easy task, but once that was accomplished, I can only say that it was a wonderful experience. For appetisers we had an excellent escargots en croûte and a arugula salad with seaweed and seafood. Our main dish was the grilled grouper fillet with sweet potato wedges and the fisher men's stew, served with a tasty... More

highly recommend the appetizer with the plaintain, beef and mozzerella...kind of like a sloppy joe but on a plaintain. Very unusual and good. And the dessert that was a creme brulee cheesecake.....YUM!

This is a small Resturant but they do a great job preparing the fish and have very good service. It is right on the Oyster Pond.

We had a party of 7 & ate here on our first night in St Maarten. Our servers were very accommodating & the food was great. The plantain appetizer is a must have. We were sad we didn't get more. The Lobster Fish cakes were good also. The stuffed red snapper & seafood pasta were to die for and a... More

Our first night in st. Martin we chose this restaurant to eat at since it was near our hotel. Thought it was very expensive, did not like my food, and got very little for the price. Also got eaten alive by Mosquitos. If eating anywhere at night outside in st. Martin be sure to use bug spray. We did not... More

We had the blackened mahi and the grouper in lobster cream sauce. Both were delicious. Very good, reasonably priced fine dining. Service was great, too.
