Like I said, rarely do I rate this high but when it's deserved, it's deserved! This place has everything! Great food, good service, atmosphere, and personalized treatment. We came on fresh fish friday, the fish is brought in fresh that day and essentially you see the catch and choose which fish you want with the standard sauce and side... So... More

We ate there twice during our ten day trip. As is often the case, the first visit was better than the second. Not that the second was bad. Service was significantly better the first visit on Friday night than on the following Thurs. Lobster was very good both nights. The first night my husband was served 4 lobster tails to... More

Very eclectic menu if you are into trying something unique. The food is excellent and presentation top notch! Great wait staff and love that the Chef comes out to chat with the diners. Even better is the gorgeous ocean side seating - it's just a very cozy, excellent restaurant. Definitely try the cobbler - I don't typically order dessert, but... More

We decided to try Tukka since our resort provided a free shuttle (with an awesome driver, Adene, who was so funny.) We spent such a nice evening here! Great relaxed atmosphere. The catch of the day was literally what the local fisherman caught that day and the chefs made each fish delicious! Try the conch and alligator fritters!

I stopped here in the late afternoon and just happened to hit Happy Hour. I ordered a salmon slider, ceviche shots, coconut shrimp, and the guava glazed short ribs. They were all very good. The staff was wonderful!

While cruising the east end we stopped in for happy hour, 3-4. It goes longer, but gradually increase in price. On the deck is great if it's not too windy. Outstanding choices: Short ribs, coconut shrimp, ceviche shot. Great service. At 3 it wasn't crowded either. Recommended.

This was a great restaurant and beautiful views! Two girls at the table next to ours split a 20# lobster! VERY LARGE! The food here is well worth the trip from the other side of the island.

Celebrated my 50th birthday here. Amazing views, sea creatures right off the shore and VERY good food. I got the chef's choice for both apps and dessert and the combinations were inventive, beautifully presented and very tasty. I never imagined kangaroo and conch on the same plate but it worked. Dessert was equally impressive and, generously, compliments of the chef/owner.... More

Excellent food in a beautiful setting. Tukka is one of only a few restaurants on the east end so may merit multiple visits if you stay there.

Since the proprietor is from Australia, there are some Australian animals on the menu. But the fish is local and expertly prepared. The atmosphere is nice, right on the ocean. The staff is friendly and efficient. At 5PM one of the staff feeds the frigate birds and tarpons.
