The Ferry is part traditional, riverside pub, with a nice bar and cosy seating and part family friendly restaurant with a superb carvery. The menu has all the usual favourites including steaks, pasta and a large seafood selection. Our table of guests chose the carvery, lasagne and fish and chips - all excellent and very good value for money. The... More

4 of us ate here Monday night just gone. We were there at 5 o'clock, due to work commitments the following day. I chose off the menu, the other 3 went for the carvery. They waited until my meal appeared. The carvery looked spectacular. There was a slight wait for the Turkey to arrive, but when it did it was... More

As well as a fantastic place to have a drink and watch the boats go by and the sun go down, the food and service are pretty good.

I've had the skate wing on a couple of occasions now and it must be one of the few pub/restaurants that have this regularly on the menu. Warm and cosy in the winter and great on a barmy summer... Mooring was no problem and we were not charged which was a huge plus but reading the reviews the charging seems to be hit and miss!! On entering the Ferry... More
