So we thought we would check it out. Happily for us it turned out to be a good choice. The place is a standard looking village pub but... More

Visited this lovely little pub yesterday evening and had a wonderful meal with great service. Very friendly staff, and the food was superb. Highly recommended the half rack of ribs and the crab tagliatelle x

Been to lunch three times before and always good, but went for dinner last night. A warm welcome greeted us as always and another good choice of real ales(that changes regularly). A good choice on the menu, something for everyone, plus two lovely specials, spoilt for choice! Our food came out promptly and was absolutely delicious, we ate everything on... More

The food is absolutely superb and the staff are great too. Never a dull moment and there are never any stern looks between anyone. Good country pub and well worth visiting.

The food, as usual was excellent ,... More

I have visited this pub a couple of times now and both times the food has been superb, with a slight Asian twist? Service is faultless, the young girl who served us was very attentive and had a lovely way about her. It seemed to get busier towards the evening on both accounts so we will definitely pop down for... More

Had a lovely meal here on Friday night. Booked in advance as it's not very big and was quite busy. The tables are a bit close together but it was a nice jovial atmosphere. The menu was good and the service friendly and helpful. Enjoyed my fish and chips very much. I didn't notice a sign on the outside of... More

That should say it all.... Ian is behind the bar and he employs good kids who he keeps an eye on and who work hard. Yes they are young and not perfect but they seem happy and friendly which is a huge plus. IF you have a problem with anything he jumps to make it right - rather then argue... More
