we came here for dinner with a group of 7 and had no problem booking a table. this is a country pub with all the charm which comes with it. the upstairs dinning area is in an original feature part of tge building, as the majorly sloping floor shows! the food here is traditional pub food with a few fancy... I had sunday lunch here and was very happy. I was in a group of three and the other two people I was with have been before and think it is one of the best carverys and places to have sunday lunch in the area. They live in Deal so they are travelling a reasonable distance for a sunday roast.... More

This pub offers a good range of food at very decent prices. The wild boar sausages were delicious, as was the pigeon breast and black pudding starter. My husband was perfectly happy with his veggie burger and chips. The entrance is to an unremarkable bar, but the restaurant is at the back in a 16th century barn, which has been... More

A nice restaurant, well set out with well laid out tables. A reasonable menu but over priced. The meal started well with the starters being very tasty but the main courses were a let down. Someone in the kitchen needs to learn how to cook chips as they were hard and under cooked and perhaps a course in cooking meat... More

Visited for a family Sunday lunch and it could not have been better. The staff were friendly, the main course was excecllent with ample well prepared food and the cheesecake probably the best I've tasted - and I've had many! Hope to go back sometime and can heartily recommend it.

The food was ok, but it could be better. I had a veggie burger, which tasted ok, but the burger broke down in little pieces. NOT a good structure. My mum had the veggie Stroganof, however, there was not a mushroom to be seen.. But it tasted well and although it didn't seem to be a large portion, it filled... More

Food was great as was service. Very nice restaurant with a lovely atmosphere. Although it was very busy this night the staff were great if a little overstretched.

I have been to quite a few carveries over the years... BUT .... after at least 6 visits to The Evenhill it has to be the best I have EVER been to!! Other places - pubs, chains - Toby's etc, there is always a part that suffers, be it soggy over cooked or even undercooked veg to tough meat. At... More

Visited Evenhill for a Sunday Roast with my family and I'm really glad I did. It is served carvary-style which I wasn't expecting but the food was really tasty and there was a good variety on offer, as well as a vegetarian option for my mum. Desserts were delicious with a lot of choice and price wasn't bad, and it's... More
