We went to the Rose Inn for lunch today (Saturday) The pub was busy, we waited almost ten minutes for a first drink. We placed our food order immediately, anticipating some delay. Our assumption was correct, lunch finally arrived forty minutes later. My choice for lunch was the apple and stilton salad at about £10-00. While containing the expected salad... More

Turned up on a whim on a bank holiday weekend, by the look of the cars parked we were not hopeful of a table....but yay they had a few to choose from. This pub changed hands last year but haven't changed much - the decor has added fairy lights which brighten the place, and gone are the menu boards on... More

Most welcoming and what we had imagined a Kent village inn to be like. Superb reception from the very attentive staff. The menu was not extensive but well prepared, presented and appetising. We dined here twice and felt so at home it was almost as though we had been adopted as locals. Highly recommended!

My wife and I booked a table for a Saturday night. On arrival the staff were friendly and I would rate the service as excellent. The evening menu is small which is good as so many pubs try to offer everything and the just end up being average. We had for starters baked Camembert and Scotch egg both absolutely delicious... The Rose Inn, Wickhambreux Date of visit – 13 July 2014 My Husband and I run with the Friends of the Mole Hash House Harriers and the Rose Inn at Wickhambreaux was the chosen venue for a Sunday morning run. The countryside around the pub is lovely for a walk or run and there is ample roadside parking around the... More

After that we followed by indulging in some traditional British desserts! Overall a great bit of service with some scrummy nosh! Will be visiting again very soon!

This is a really nice, clean and friendly local pub. We visited recently as we were staying locally for a friend's birthday. The atmosphere in the pub was friendly and welcoming and the pub garden outside was a real sun trap. The food was generous and very tasty. Because there were so many of us, I think we just about... We came here on the Saturday bank holiday and what an amazing time we had. Roughly 25 different beers and locally produced ciders. We had the hog roast which was out of this world. Live bands were playing and the atmosphere was great. Will defiantly be here for the next one in August. Paul and Denise keep up the good... More

My daughter arranged for our family to enjoy an evening meal at The Rose Inn and we were not disappointed in any way....Its situated in a quiet location and has a great deal of natural traditional Kentish character. Our table was reserved but the owners kindly arranged the tables so we could all talk to each other during the meal.... More
