We have been visiting The Woolpack for around 40 years, staying occasionally, when walking in the area. Our friends stayed in bedroom 6 a few years ago and they had similar problems with noise from the extraction fans and they weren't happy sleepwise. I have to say, though, you are probably best off in the rooms in that same building... More

We stayed here for the weekend and decided to try the restaurant on the Saturday night. The food was gorgeous, I had the pork belly and it was absolutely delicious. Will definitely be going back. Lovely restaurant

If you are ever in Chilham, this pub must not be missed. The burger is heavenly, the staff are welcoming and even bring your dogs treats and water. Food is served all day, even on Sunday until 9pm, so the perfect place to end a long walk. I shall definitely be returning.

The Woolpack Inn in Chilham is the perfect country pub. It is in chocolate box pretty Chilham and on the North downs way. There are many good pubs in the area, but the Woolpack is the best of them all for several reasons: The staff are always very welcoming and friendly. Locals, tourists and walkers happily congregate together in the... More

We had dined at the Woolpack back in the late 70s while USAF officers stationed in the UK. Took us a while to get back, but dined here again late May after a visit to Canterbury Cathedral. We are vegetarians. The UK food scene has most certainly changed since our USAF days. The Woolpack menu had several excellent choices for... More

Read great food reviews on this pub so went there for lunch today. We were not disappointed . The staff were lovely and friendly, lovely homemade food, shame we couldn't fit in a pudding, definitely going back.

We stumbled upon this place while searching the village of my ancestors from early 1500s. Decided to drive back from Canterbury that evening for dinner. The bread and camenbert with garlic cloves were delicious and the beef special was really good. Caramelized carrots were unique. The Eton Mess dessert was as good as I have ever tasted. The pub opened... More

wanted a simple ploughmans which was not on the menu but owner quickly prepared one for us. Was quite expensive for what was provided but was good quality - just rather small portions for cost
