We called in without a booking and advised table would be available in roughly half an hour, and in the meantime would we like to have a drink whilst waiting in the bar area, which we did. Right on time we shown to our table, and orders taken. After the busy Easter weekend there were a few items... read more

Having stopped for a light lunch, the food was gorgeous and although I'm not normally a great chip eater, I feel I must give a special mention for the triple fried chips and the onion rings ( my husband said they were the best he's ever eaten!). A cosy atmosphere and impeccable service added up to make a relaxing lunch.... More

We'd driven past this pub on numerous occasions, and kept meaning to try it. Wow, if we'd have known how good it was, we'd have gone earlier! Don't be deceived by its exterior, inside is very tastefully decorated and quite contemporary. The food and wine was very good, a notch above your usual pub fare. The staff were lovely and... More

Had a brilliant Chinese meal cooked by Ben. None of your old run of the mill stuff. Brilliant. Well done to the Black Robin, Which Trip Adviser, is in Kingston not Barham.

Visited for a late Sunday lunch and wasn't disappointed. The food was good with lots of it, and it was a lovely treat to have a normal roast with a veggie nut roast in place of the meat! Service was good, however there were very few people there at the time we visited. We will certainly be back both for... More

Sat lunchtime visit with a walking group, flagstones on the bar floor so OK for clean boots. Needed to book as place was busy. 3 real ales on including a local micro brew (Red Top) which was excellent. Had the house burger & fries - delicious! others had a highly rated venison stew. Sticky toffee pudding was great. Service was... More

Tasty mains but very disappointing dessert. Crumble topping made from a crumbled digestive biscuit and they ran out of custard! The custard we did get was thin, runny and full of lumps. Won't be having dessert there again!

Four of us visited on a Saturday night. The pub was well comfortable with a good atmosphere. T The menu was interesting with some varied dishes. We had mains (we all choose the burgers) and sweets which were both very good. The service was very friendly and helpful. The prices were reasonable for a night out. We would go back.
