A Perfect Beach Restaurant

There is a great entree-coffee-drink combo that is one of the best values on the French side here. It's a bit tucked away, but not too hard to find. The restaurant itself is small, very open, and gives a gorgeous view of hills/lakes during the daytime. However, the best part was the FOOD! We came for the lunch special and... More

I was really hoping for something amazing based on the reviews. Some reviewers likened the place to those restaurants in Grand Case. I wouldn't. First, I never got a reply to my request for a reservation. No biggie. We didn't need it. The website stated that they opened at 1145 for lunch. We were told when we got there early... More

It was a fabulous experience! Very intimate setting for couples or casual enough ambiance for families. Food and service were excellent and the daily specials were yummy and included dessert! We would be regulars if we lived in St. Marteen.

I've become a regular at le taitu. Excellent for lunch and dinner. Why? Maybe because John makes you feel like you,veg been a friend forever. Maybe because a price fixed lunch included a glass of wine, a veal stew platter that was delicious and a cappuccino. Maybe because the entire bill was $13.50. Again maybe because it was all three.... Once again our recent visit to St. Martin included several dinners at Le Taitu. Boeuf bourguignon was delicious! Also a favorite was the chicken creole and curry shrimp. Coco flan a must! Comfortable environment with a super friendly owner!

With the reviews I read and staying very close to Le Taitu, I decided that it was on the to do list. The soup was very good and the fish entree I had was fresh and very tasty. I am not that much of a desert person but the flan was exceptional. The atmosphere is comfortable and laid back. Not... More

This is a beautiful restaurant. Quiet setting, and excellent service. The food was exceptional. We loved the leek soup! I had a shrimp special that was cooked to perfection.. I would highly recommend dinner here.

This little gem is everything that you could hope for, it's not too expensive and the service is great. The food is fresh and a mix of authentic local cuisine with the unmistakeable French touch. You should stop by for dinner, it was fantastic.

I had to wait a while and my cellphone was almost flat... Jean offered me to recharge it along with a café before opening hours! I felt at home and stayed for lunch. It was just incredible delicious. No wonder that I returned for diner twice! All positive reviews on this site are truly right.
