The food was delicious and loved the concept...pies and tarts. Wonderful lunch :) We found the restaurant by accident but will definitely return and recommend it to others. Excellent.

Fab staff, yummy food, best roasts and to top it all pies to takeaway! A little off the standard tourist path but well worth a visit oh and the fruit compote is to die for. Very accommodating (we dine with children) nothing too much trouble. Reading other reviews makes you laugh! If you have to wait it's because food is... More

The Great Walsingham Barns Cafe is one of those places that once discovered you will return again and again. They call themselves a cafe but they deserve to be thought of as a restaurant. They make delicious meals with quality ingredients and the friendly staff make it an experience that will keep you smiling all day. The Sunday roast here... More

Visited for a light lunch as a family of 4. Despite sitting down just after a party of 14 had just ordered, we were attended to promptly enough. I had a hot beef roll, my wife a seafood pie that she raved about. The children's food was also good. The only disappointment was a take away cream tea. The fruit... More

Whilst visiting the area we came across the cafe and decided to have a late lunch! The service was polite and not over bearing. We ordered 2 of the lovely looking pies with chips and salad and a couple of drinks. The food was well presented but the mushy peas were tinned! and the cups, milk jug and tea pot... More

Visited one Saturday morning too early for lunch but was offered a wonderful traditional full English breakfast. Have to say it was the best breakfast I have ever had away from home. Top quality ingredients, beautifully served on hot plates. We are making it a regular habit! Coffee is good too!

Got taken here for lunch as told of rave reviews. Steak and kidney and ale pie were nice tasting, but a tad overdone for my liking and salad or mushy peas was the only choice, when asked if there was any other vegetables was told; sorry not on a Saturday .The chips tasted ok, but again very brown. The service was friendly... Wow! The best lemon meringue pie I have ever had! My mouth watered just looking at it! Was amazing! In fact the whole menu looked great and we even brought some pies to take home to sample! Can't wait to try them tomorrow when home! Our waitress was lovely and very helpful! We stopped out of curiosity yet had a... More

We happened to come across this cafe on our way to Wells after seeing a sign on the side of the road. What a lucky find it was. We stopped in around lunchtime with our 3 children aged 1, 3, and 7 who were catered for equally as good as us adults. We chose to have a couple of delicious... More

Distinctly average. Roast potatoes had gone soggy as they were hidden under the beef. Vegetable selection looked unappealing (nothing green)...I'm sure the pies are good (which seems their forte) but regrettably I had a the roast beef, which I prefer rarer than served here.
