We had lunch here after reading on TA that it was the best Sunday lunch in Norfolk. Wrong, it is possibly one of the worst. The roast beef comes one way - well done - no choice. Veggies were fresh but a bit messy with a pile of gray cabbage poured over the top. Yorkshires and gravy good. Now the... More

We've been here 4 times now and each time it's been excellent. The pies are superb and the salads fresh and crisp. The service is prompt and friendly. There is a great choice of food whether you're a veggie or a meat eater. If you sit outside the views across the fields are lovely and there's a really nice gallery/picture... More

Stayed nearby and this was a lovely place to start the day with a coffee. Comfortable atmosphere, very simple . Very friendly staff , my dog was allowed inside which was a bonus. The coffee was made perfect . 2 points would be to have wifi for customers . Also to have items on menu apart from pies / tarts... More

This place has a brilliant limited menu of pies and suet puddings, plus some lovely desserts. The prices are reasonable and the pies are truly outstanding. Our party had the fish pie, a chicken and sausage pudding, and a vegetarian pudding with cranberries. We were soon swapping bites back and forth. Chips were handcut and good. Salad was generous and... More

The food was delicious and loved the concept...pies and tarts. Wonderful lunch :) We found the restaurant by accident but will definitely return and recommend it to others. Excellent.

Fab staff, yummy food, best roasts and to top it all pies to takeaway! A little off the standard tourist path but well worth a visit oh and the fruit compote is to die for. Very accommodating (we dine with children) nothing too much trouble. Reading other reviews makes you laugh! If you have to wait it's because food is... More

The Great Walsingham Barns Cafe is one of those places that once discovered you will return again and again. They call themselves a cafe but they deserve to be thought of as a restaurant. They make delicious meals with quality ingredients and the friendly staff make it an experience that will keep you smiling all day. The Sunday roast here... More

Visited for a light lunch as a family of 4. Despite sitting down just after a party of 14 had just ordered, we were attended to promptly enough. I had a hot beef roll, my wife a seafood pie that she raved about. The children's food was also good. The only disappointment was a take away cream tea. The fruit... More

Whilst visiting the area we came across the cafe and decided to have a late lunch! The service was polite and not over bearing. We ordered 2 of the lovely looking pies with chips and salad and a couple of drinks. The food was well presented but the mushy peas were tinned! and the cups, milk jug and tea pot... More
