First visit was in the summer, had a delightful small lunch on the terrace. Just sand witches & wine, but beautifully presented, & tasty. Second was a light lunch with my son, again, most appetising. Third, full lunch with three family members, just before Christmas. The atmosphere was perfect, & the food really lovely. It's definitely a place to visit... More

Good food, much of it locally sourced as far as meat and cheese are concerned. Worth a visit and night out even if your not staying there.

We recently re-visited The White Buck after some time and found that they have had a refurb. The interior is nice, clean and presentable, with large open rooms and a nice veiw of the garden. The food we ordered was very nice, although for the price needed to be a little better to be fantastic. Two small complaints would be... More

Belly pork was tender the portions were very generous and good value for money. Game pie was just as good. All food was served with a smile and hot.

I had not visited the White Buck for three years . It has been extensively renovated. The restaurant is decorated in subdued colours and tables are well spaced. The menu features locally sourced produce and a good choice of beautifully presented and well cooked food. We really enjoyed our lunch and the service was excellent .

We were here to celebrate a special family birthday. This was booked weeks ago and menus were already submitted before we had even arrived in the county. Food arrived promtly, all the family were pleased with it. Nice to have visited, may even stay at the hotel next time.

This looks like one of those big stately homes, but it is a rather nice country pub. Some ales on tap, and they do some excellent food. We just loved sitting outside, the tables are so spaced apart people were there with their dogs. Lovely place will be back if I am in the area.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of the pub. Being able to sit outside in December is amazing and we are so lucky that our customers can still enjoy our beautiful pub inside and out. We hope to welcome you back in the new year and would like to wish you a very happy Christmas More

We have recently rediscovered the White Buck, we haven't been there for years . We went for a drink one Sunday afternoon and had a lovely relaxing time in the Gun room lounge. The decor is very nice and it has a great relaxing atmosphere. The following week we came back for Sunday lunch which was delicious and served by... More

We enjoyed our visit and especially the 2007 Margeaux for £50 - unbelievable really. The food was good but the service was better. Tony and Jack, our waiters, got everything right first time and pre-empted well throughout service. The gun room is a great space to enjoy an after dinner drink or two. Such a nice hotel and restaurant. Looking... More

This lunch is one of the best I have ever experienced. The staff were outstanding, the food was hot and nicely presented. Another visit is a definite. Complements to the management of a first class establishment.

Thank you so much for your review, it is so lovely to see that all our customers are enjoying the pub.
