Excellent

Had a great dinner with the family a couple of weeks ago , food was great apart from 1 meal. Our waiter I think called Harvey was extremely attentive, friendly and sorted the problem without any fuss. Will be coming back for sure in the summer

However, I recently returned to this restaurant after a change in management. The place has been completely renovated, keeping the old inn charm it used to have but modernising the restaurant area to look... More

On arrival we were shown to our table, it was not too busy at all like we thought it would be, once seated we waited for someone to take our drinks orders which... More

Came on sunny April Saturday. Beer garden was well placed and busy. Food was decent. Would recommend especially for summer

Dear pgbowen, Thank you for your review, we are so lucky to have such a big beer garden with the play area and it is such a sun trap, making it the perfect place to enjoy local food and great ales. Hope to see you for some more sunshine in the garden soon. Kind regards Annette More

Dear Charlene, Thank you for taking the time to review your visit to us. The antler candle sticks were made by a lovely gentleman that lives locally and are so popular. We love being the stop gap for people on their bikes or walking in the forest.. It brings a great sense of being in the heart of the forest.... More

First thing I noticed was the new decor, which has a modern but rustic/country feel to it, they have certainly done a very good job of this hotel. It had a very warm country feel and... More
