maybe best restaurant in Southall

This is an excellent Indian restaurant that has been family run for many years. The food is mainly Punjabi (Northern India) but they do try to reflect other regions of India in their menus. My favourite dish is Sag makki di roti - this is a popular punjabi curry made from mustard leaves and is... read more

This is the best Indian I have ever had; this is a well-known eating establishment throughout my company. We have colleagues that always ask to be taken here when they are visiting from Canada, or the USA. I love the starters, always best to get a varied selection to gain all of the flavours. For the main I love the... More

I have been to this restaurant on a number of occassions with work colleagues, and each time I have come out satisfied. Nice restaurant, staff are polite and welcoming and the food... very good.

Whenever I travel to the area on Business, Omi's is top of my list as a "must do" for eating. I was introduced to Omi's by a friend so I could sample authentic east indian cuisine. On that first trip I ate so much it was embarassing! Now no other Indian restaurant compares. When you go, and you must go,... More

Southall has quite a few Indian restaurants, I love this one. We had Papri Chaat & Chicken Tikka for starters, The Chaat was amazingly tasty. We tried the recommendations from the main course of Maki Di Roti & Saag, which was delicious, and Satya's Special Lamb, with a very unusual flavour. The environment is sparse and cafeteria like, but clean.... More

Came here for an early dinner with family after reading previous reviews. Ordered a selection of items to be brought out together. These included Tava Chicken, Gobi Paratha, Daal, Chicken Korma, Papri Chaat and Mango Lassi. Everything was very well made. The Gobi Paratha tasted very fresh indeed. Couldn't really fault anything - perhaps the mango lasso was a touch... More

Came here on the back of good reviews and despite looking like a cafe and being empty, the food was great and the staff were very friendly. Great value for money and will definitely come back.

When I visit Southall I always eat at Rita's, Chini chit or another but from the reviews I thought I'd try Omi's as we are always looking fir somewhere different, we had missed. this in the last 4 years as it is off the main Broadway. Was so excited to visit here as the reviews rave but wasn't quite as... More

We had a lovely meal here with our baby recently. It is a low-key place, not fancy but relaxing. They have high-chairs for kids which is VERY handy. Food was great at a good price.

Dropped by on the way to Heathrow, based on the reviews here. The food was excellent. The chicken pakora starter was delicious - tender and succulent. The curries were cooked well, especially the lamb curry - it was obvious that they had taken the time to cook it. The breads were well-made. The dessert of gulab jamun was fantastic -... More
