Old English Pub!

Lovely old friendly pub. I had been working in Uxbridge during the month of January and enjoyed a guinness after work. The staff have a good rapport with the locals and welcomed our business.

Great experience! Great atmosphere, great beers, nice waiters... Lovely place. There's nothing special at all, but once you've been there, for sure you'll go back.

Popped in many times for lunch and for value for money the food at lunch can't be beat. The staff are friendly the food hot and fresh and reasonably priced. Add on a decent pint what's not to like

Had nice chicken curry with rice on a summer afternoon. I wish the rice was of better quality or a basmati. Chicken curry was spicy may be a little too much of coriander in curry but enjoyed it. For a pub they serve a good menu of hot food.

Typical locals pub. Opposite the station so great location. Waiting for a taxi so popped in for a beer. The Ale choice is poor at best only main stream ales which you can get anywhere no micro breweries. And upon entering you just get stares from some very unwelcoming regulars who crowd around the bar. Have been coming here for ages to drink but have recently had Sunday lunch, absolutely brilliant. The manager was very welcoming as were the staff they remember the drinks that were ordered previously even for non regulars.

The beer selection and the interior are ok, but the landlord has to be the rudest and most unpleasant that I've ever come across. My friend asked him a question and he became agressive and obnoxious. We left and wouldn't go back.
