Have not been for a couple of years and was really looking forward to going, was not disappointed! The food is absolutely fantastic and very well priced. Service is efficient and friendly without being obtrusive. One of my favourite places to eat.

This restaurant gets the mix of gastro and pub dining just about right. I've been times, often for birthdays and similar or just evenings out with the family. The staff are great with children, they know about the produce and are able to give good recommendations on food and wine. It really is worth a visit if you're planning on... More

We have been a few times now to The Kins Arms and the food and service are always exceptional. Friendly staff, local produce, great wine list and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. We took friends for lunch on Sunday and had the most fabulous pub meal. The food was fresh, the menu varied and all the meals were beautiful - fish... More

Had a fantastic meal here. Really great menu, something for everyone. Good sized portions, beautifully cooked and presented. Lovely staff. Can recommend the soups for starters. Had pulled pork burger for mains and it was gorgeous. Steaks, fish dishes etc also on the menu so something to please all tastes.

If you are around Rutland Water and want an olde worlde inn with real ambience and friendly staff, this is the best place in the area. Food is based upon good quality, local ingredients. There is a good range of beers and wine list is good and quite fairly priced. You can either eat in the bar area or the... More

We came over for a Friday lunch and booked a table, though, as it turned out, that wasn't necessary. The beer was good and so was the champagne by the glass and that says a lot about a village pub. The staff were absolutely charming from start to finish. This was an exploratory first visit for us and we would... More

Having recently moved into the area, we were pleased to find a pub/restaurant that we intended to visit on a regular basis for our own use and to entertain friends. Our first experience was very good. The following week, we visited again arriving at 7.45 pm on a Monday evening to eat once again. An overly confident female member of staff... More

Rude, Charmless Bully of a man who will not go forgotten by the staff, other diners or locals. Dear Sir, When you arrived you were quite rightly told that we had stopped taking more diners as this was the case, We had lots of booked diners to care for and the other casual diners waiting to order were more than... We visited with high hopes given the Trip Advisor reviews and were not disappointed (mostly). We were seven so this summarizes 7 reviews. The oysters, the home made sausages, the pork belly and the indian, but especially the smoked eel, all received excellent feed-back. Less positive was the fish and chips. Service was prompt and charming. we made a detour... More

The food is of a very high quality, including food produced in it's own smokery & home baked bread. The only problem is choosing what to have!!

Had a very nice meal here with friends at the weekend. For some reason, not explained to us, the pub has two menus that you appear to be able to order off wherever you are. One menu has standard pub favourites whilst the other has something for the more adventurous - there is also a specials blackboard! The food was... More
