Not too special barbecue, but good location and good portions!

We stopped here for lunch / early dinner and since it seemed the locals also frequent the place, I figured that should be a good sign. First off, the place is not very vegetarian friendly, but I have to say they do put out quite an effort to attempt to make a vegetarian happy. Yes it should be a... read more

Good place to stop for quick bite on your way to Arenal from San Jose. Right off Hwy 1 in Limonal. The service was quick and polite, very organized. The food was good and prices fair. Nice outdoor terrace .

This is our go-to spot when driving from our condo near Marbella to San Jose, Monte Verde or Manuel Antonio. It is located at the junction of Rt. 18 and the Panamerican Highway. We stopped both ways on our trip to Manuel Antonio recently. We are never disappointed. The waiters are attentive and polite. Our car is in view, which... More

OK, it's a steak restaurant. You can tell by the giant Toro out front. My companions both ordered steak entre's that also came with a sausage, good portions and sides. The quality matched the price. Some of the best cattle in the world are raised right there in Guanacaste and it was good. I was beat up from driving the... More

The food is very good, the open air dining area is nice and clean, but the best part of our visit was the outstanding service. All of the waiters were excellent.

Location is very good, at an important crossing on Panamerican Highway. Building and bathrooms very well kept and a nice play area for the kids. Food is ok, tastes of, but not realy worth the price: rather small and unimpressive. We went there 2 times (while going to the beach and going back) and both of the times they asked... More

This is a roadside restaurant. I like that it is not too fancy and still it is neat. The food is good and the staff polite.

The drive from San José to the beaches of northern Guanacaste is beautiful, but just as it gets a bit tedious, there appears the restaurant Tres Hermanas, on the corner of the road taking of the the so-called "friendship bridge" that cuts the distance to the beaches considerably. If you are a vegetarian, then continue your journey - but all... More

Food was average. Kind of expensive. Close to the main highway and near gas station that is located across the street. Not a bad place. Of course the folks are nice. I compare this place to a Denny's style type of meal.
