One of the best independent coffee shops I have had the pleasure of visiting in the UK. This is up there with the very best and would not be out of place in Borough Market! Great coffee and sublime cakes. Wife declared the 'pretzel rocky road' as the best she has ever had and that is not a claim to... More

Having visited Wolf House Tea Room many times over many years and found it to be a super place to visit in this area of outstanding natural beauty. I have found that it has been on a downhill slide for some time. This visit however found it to be at it's lowest point yet. On entering, the interior was in... More

On the 5.5 mile Silverdale walking circuit (pathfinder guide, Lancashire) you'll find this gem. Wonderful tea room and a chance to look in the galleries...fantastic

We loved this place. It is part of what looks like a converted pair of barns and combines a top-quality cafe/restaurant with the Wolfhouse gallery, where the food is renowned. The venue offers a gallery, an artisan studio and the cafe/restaurant , the Wolfhouse Kitchen. The gallery offers an excellent choice of craft wares, including an extensive range of artisan... More

We arrived here after a walk to have tea and cake. After having discussed the size of the mug of milk for my daughter, it arrived in half the size. The cappuccino large was rather small and the latte was lukewarm. Very, very disappointed - especially for the price that we paid. You need to sort it out , it's... More

Having visited many times over the last 20 years, very disappointed today. The place seems to be unloved and lost some all of its previous charm. The coffee was horrid and the cakes unappealing and can't believe there were no scones! Hopefully the only way forward is to improve.

Found this place thanks to a sign at a T junction and decided to explore down that road, glad we did. A VERY busy little restaurant / cafe with more space outside than in. An interesting selection of cakes many of which I have not seen elsewhere. The staff work very hard to make customers feel welcome. Not cheap but... More

Cakes and coffee and light lunches are fine but dinner is not good at all. Kenny is a delight as are the rest of the staff but the main meals need a lot of improvement

Rustic little cafe, usually busy, with outside seating and small outdoor play area. There is a resident artist studio and a shop selling ceramics, pictures and other arts and crafts items. Ideally situated for those enjoying walks in Silverdale area. We have visited a few times. On this occasion we enjoyed a delicious cake (cheesecake brownie), good quality teas and... More
