Rustic little cafe, usually busy, with outside seating and small outdoor play area. There is a resident artist studio and a shop selling ceramics, pictures and other arts and crafts items. Ideally situated for those enjoying walks in Silverdale area. We have visited a few times. On this occasion we enjoyed a delicious cake (cheesecake brownie), good quality teas and... More

Today I had lunch for the second time this week at the Wolfhouse and I want to rave about the yummy pizzas....Today mine was topped with locally sourced chorizo, caramalised onions and parmesan...the base is crisp and light and it was all finished off with fresh salad. In a word, delicious. All I needed to accompany it was a cup of... More

The lovely peeps at Wolfhouse Kitchen made my day by hosting a glam Saturday night dinner party for for 12 of us, complete with fairy lights, candles, flowers, balloons and Prosecco. Katey, Kenny and Frankie made it a really special evening - my guests were blown away by the location, the creative menu, amazing food, great value and the STUNNING... More

Food is OK, nothing I'd rave about but don't want to eat my meal on plastic tablecloths and hard wooden seats. Table decoration a few weeds in a jamjar and service slow. Cater for the anorak brigade.

We have lunch here at least once a month and are always pleased with the food and coffee. However, could the owner please tell the staff that's it's ok to smile at the customer, to make polite conversation, to ask if the meal is ok or generally show some interest in the customer. We visit on different days, often mid-... More

We have been here three times over the past six months. On two occasions we had coffee and cakes, and on once we had lunch. Coffee is great - I think they source it from Farrer's in Kendal. The cakes on offer are always delicious and a little bit different. We had the lovely balfour, the baked chocolate cheesecake, the... More

This is a lovely walking area which is good because you need to do a good walk to work up an appetite for the cakes, it was difficult to decide which ones to have and our group of 10 people all had something different.

I visited many times since my last review back in September last year. Every time I've visited the coffee and cakes have been amazing, not the run of the mill really different combinations, they are seriously good bakers! I'm still yet to eat a savoury dish but seen many served and they smell and look delicious! Also an added bonus... More

The Wolfhouse cafe always seems busy and it can be hard to find a seat inside. But that's because its tiny kitchen consistently turns out lovely, interesting food and has a fantastic and unusual cake choice. Combine a visit with a walk around the woods and limestone crags for a fantastic day out.
