Another Delicious Lunch!

We regularly use the Fat Goose to meet friends who live near Frinton. It's a 60 mile round trip for us but so well worth it. It's difficult to find comparable food and ambience locally. The recently opened deli is another bonus.

Visited here today for an early lunch. I had been recommended by a friend and was not disappointed. The staff are friendly and helpful, the ambience is warm and welcoming and the food was very good. The special offer two courses for £12 was good value and the fish was fresh and "meaty" and the whole lunch was very well... More

Such a great experience from start to finish! The service was outstanding and the food was so amazing. It was such a lovely place to spend time with family and friends. The pub itself is really nicely furnished and the bathroom facilities are stunning! I have never been anywhere where you get your own hand towel after washing your hands!... More

Came here for lunch with colleagues just before Christmas. It was perfect: lovely decor, excellent food and friendly efficient service. The new deli provides a fun way to end the meal: looking for a little something to take away ( we found some nice little last-minute additional presents). Looking forward to my next visit. Although not a regular visitor, I... More

We were a family party of six and we chose a good cross section of the menu. We were all pleased with our selection and enjoyed our meals. There was no cause to criticise any aspect of our evening but everything was just good and nothing was outstanding although I felt that the prices were a trifle high for what... More

FIRST CLASS! I didn't think English cuisine could be like this. Cooked to perfection and generous portions. Succulent lamb. Vegetables just right. No room left for a sweet. Perfect ambience with attentive but not intrusive service. A fair price as well. An enjoyable evening for my wife and me. Thank you Fat Goose.

Went here a few days ago for staff Xmas Meal, first time I have been to this pub. The food was excellent, home cooked and of a very high standard. The staff were all very professional and friendly. I plan to come again with my wife, very impressed.
