Myself and a group of 6 friends visited this pub last night. However 2 of our friends got lost in the area for over an hour. I called them on mobile and the owner of the pub gave instructions of how to reach the pub. My friends were still very confused and were in a car park of another pub... More

Visited The Old White Horse for the first time Sunday 24th with my husband, daughter and her boyfriend. The inside looked very crowded as tables rather close to each other. As it was a nice day we decided to eat outside. After about 35-40 we were served. Three roast dinners and ribs. The roast dinners were very nicely cooked and... More

Lovely pub, very welcoming staff and excellent food. This pub is always my first stop in England as the steak and kidney pudding is simply superb. Served with lots of chips and lovely thick gravy it is also reasonably priced. The owners and staff here are always very welcoming and friendly and greet all their customers as old friends. The... We've visited this pub on a couple of occasions before and have always been impressed by the warm friendly welcome from the staff, the excellent family friendly beer garden and the reasonably priced meals. We visited once again this weekend and can only applaud the way the manager dealt with an error with the order. Basically we had ordered a... More

We came for a Sunday roast and left very satisfied with out tummys full. The portion sizes are good and the customer service is great the staff are very friendly. I am dairy intolerant and the staff are very knowledgable about what food I was able to eat. The playground is brilliant for the children. We will definitely be coming... More

Simply, great food at a great price.Staff friendly & attentive, lovely 'small pub' atmosphere, but with a huge garden containing trampolees for the kids & a BBQ hut for when it's sunny.Perfect 'back' room for family events such as birthdays etc.Always well run & left with a feeling of having a nice time.Recommended to a number of friends, who now... My family and I eat here quite regularly and love it. The food is proper home cooked fare. The deserts are ridiculous! !! In a good way, home made but the portions are huge..... As for the garden. My 5 year old loves it. Trampolines, swings and slides. What's not to like.

My family and I eat at The Old White Horse on numerous occasions and the food has always been good . We understand that we sometimes have to wait for our food but it is always worth the wait. We would go elsewhere if we wanted fast microwave meals. The staff both waitress and bar are always very polite and... More
