Nice evening in a remote place

It is a nice restaurant with good choice of menus and wines. We had to wait a bit longer for the suckling pig wich was an obligatory part of every menu. The surrounding is also very nice and romantic nearby a small stream.

My husband and I have eaten here a few times and we've never been disappointed. The food is creative and surprising. Everything is paired wonderfully and the setting in the summer months really creates a beautiful ambiance. The chef often serves surprising dessert creations that are offered at the end of the evening and if you can manage to put... More

I love to travel and I love to eat. I'm eating when I'm traveling but also eating takes me to the different journeys. This time my journey was beautiful, full of hospitality, warm welcoming, great food, equilibrated flavors, never ending diversity of dishes... I've visited de L'Eau Vive by myself. First I was welcomed in the chimney room, with an... More

we were driving, and stopped by coincidence in this very nice restaurant, the first impression was nice, and we had a glass of champagne outside by the water. The menu did look a bit complicated, too modern for me, but we tried and it was interesting, good and nice. the wine list is very good, the quality of the products... More

We had reservation for 4 people (2 couples) for dinner. Arrived at L'eau Vive on time and felt rushed to order by the staff. We wanted a little bit more time to understand the menu but they gave very little help. The menu was in French but 3 of us were native French speakers so that was not an issue.... More

It is a Michelin two star restaurant so we anticipate it will be good. What we didn't know was that it will be so good!! .We took the 68 euros menu and had a festival of excelent and abundant portions. It was a wonderful experience and an enchanting evening.

Beautiful sunny weather on the terrace of L'Eau Vive, next to a splashing artificial waterfall (remainings of an old water mill) with the first (of a whole series of) appetizers on your table and a glass of sparkling champagne in your hand: that was our entrance experience to what confirmed to become a gastronomical Garden of Eden! The Chef of... More
