Can't beat the view of this place. At the end of the promenade, together with a beer or margarita and add somr shrimp and fish tacos and you are good to a great start. They provide a little more than chip n salsa, so give it a try.

I was in the mood for a steak. I stopped by the restaurant during the afternoon to check out the menu and prices. I met Fernando, who was very congenial and took time to show me the fresh seafood coming in off the boats, the actual steak I was interested in, and some lobster tails that looked delicious. As I... The best part of our dinner was the walk along the ocean boardwalk from the Parque central to get there. The restaurant was about to close - it was 7, but on Sunday. So high marks for serving us. The view is one of the best in Campeche for dining out. Both entries consisted of a few pieces of lettuce,... More

This palapa is on par quality wise with la pigua and marganzo (two best restaurants in campeche) but as it is 20-30 pesos cheaper that made it my favorite. I tried a few different things on the menu, the shrimp being my favorite (al coco is very good, and the mojo de ajo and grilled looked my friends ordered looked... More

This is a restaurant specialized in seafood located on sea side. We had visited this restaurant two years a go and we were not very pleased with the food, but we decided to give it a second chance and this proved to be a great decision, because this time all members of our group (10 persons) were satisfied with their... Fresh air, fresh seafood overlooking the Bay. An authentic Campechano experience. The menu wish a platter of fresh fish and seafood on ice, which horrified my children so be warned if you have sensitive kids! But the food was plentiful and delicious, just not for the budget conscious.

The view from this restaurant definitively sets it apart from any other in Campeche. It gives a great view of the intense blue ocean from this city. The service was very good, the waiters were cordial and the food was served accurately and promptly. The food itself was ok, nothing amazing if you compare it to what the locals serve... More

I am still catching up on reviews of our self guided bus tour through out the Yucatan, Feb 2011. I feel this review is still valid as the restaurant is still there & according to many reviews still serving wonderful seafood. This lovely large palapa style restaurant over-looking the Bay of Mexico was the quintessential seafood dining experience. We went... More

On our way through Mexico we were in Campeche for two nights. We felt like Seafood and chose this place based on the good feedback. It's a little away from the town center, so it's best to take a taxi (around 30-40 peso). It's right at the sea under some Palapa roof. There are lots of tables and we were... More
