Really nice hot chocolates and the chocolate tamales were nice as well!

Really nice hot chocolates and the chocolate tamales were nice as well! They even let us eat our bread from the famous town of Pomuch (Pan de Pomuch) after a day trip. The hot chocolate with chile is very nice and the mint chocolate as well. The 80% hot chocolate was too intense but the waiter... read more

Tamales and chocolate crepes & cocoa drinks. Yummy. My friend found this place while walking around the walled city and was determined to take us there for a light supper. The staff was lovely and accommodating. The food was delicious. The chocolate desserts were light and may seem less sweet to some, but we thoroughly enjoy every bit of them.

It's a very nice shop both to buy souvenir and to have a sweet break eating different product made of fine chocolate. Really recommended

The waiter was alone with lots of clients, he did his best effort but The Food was tasteless and extremely slow, in 30 minutes 3 couples around us left without eating!

I can see why this place has a top rating. Super charming - cozy interior, charming outdoor garden, and lovely to sit out front on the pedestrian street people watching. I went several times and loved the various hot chocolates that I had, plus the local tamale. Champurrado is excellent. My only disappointment was that it's only open in the... More

Everyone was raving about the campuchano and chocolate with chile, but our chocolate with mint was a bit watered down.

Ok so, first of all, a quick history lesson: The olmecs, around 1500 BC-400BC are considered the "inventors of chocolate." It was traditionally consumed as drink with spices and chillies. Later both the mayans and aztecs took in this tradition and thus cocoa became an integral part of meixcan pre-spanish cultures. Having said that, this restaurant circles around two main... More
