We ate there one night, and had one issue with the service : we ordered beer, appetizers, and entrees, and after more than one hour of waiting, we still had not our appetizers !! For usn this is totally unacceptable. There were 2 big tables in the restaurant, and they were served during all that time, but for us, nothing.... More

My husband had the "filet mignon" and while it didn't seem like the filet mignon we're used to at home, it was delicious! I had the cochonita pibil, (a tradicional Yucatecan dish), and it was okay. Not the best I've had, but fine. The restaurant is located in a historical building right on the main square with lovely views at... More

The service was friendly and the menu has a variety of traditional food from the area and more familiar items. We tried the pineapple and chaya juice, tortilla soup, sopa de lima, and cochinita pibil which were tasty. However, the tastiest thing we ate was the garlic cream (butter? mayonnaise?) that accompanied the bread and chips they gave us while... More

The castle overlooking the bay on the hill top. Expensive to actually go inside (we didn't) but nice to walk around outside. Looked fairly rundown from what we could see of the inside.

I can see why some people go to this restaurant repeatedly. The food is quite good. The service is pretty good, but not exactly warm and fuzzy. At first I thought it was a foreigner thing, but observed that the younger waitress seems frustrated with the locals also. I say smile at her and eat there anyway because the food... More

You could hardly have a better view for dinner overlooking the square and the cathedral which is brilliantly lit up at night. The service was ok but the food was really rather average. Perhaps just go for a drink and enjoy the ambience

A delicious, eye appealing meal with generous portions. Our friend who didn't like seafood also had lots of other choices. There were lots of variety and the prices were reasonable, especially a restaurant overlooking the central plaza. We had good food, good drinks and a good evening.

We went here for lunch. I ordered the Mexican salad. After a long wait, it finally arrived. It was very basic and unappealing. It was also missing the tomato - one of the 5 ingredients it was supposed to have. I asked for the tomato. They took the salad away. After a lengthy wait, they came back and said they... More
