We had trouble locating the restaurant, but had a very enjoyable meal. It was great to eat something other than tacos. The prices were expensive for Mexico, but not by Australian standards. Thr coconut prawns were excellent

We always enjoy our visits to La Pigua. The service is always friendly and attentive and the seafood is always fresh and well prepared. We were here 3 years ago and were happy to see nothing had changed. Started with a most excellent fish pâté, and ordered the fish in salsa verde and camarones de ajo. Both were excellent. Beware... We love the place because we knew the "shrimp at coconut" Excellent place. It's an elegant place if you want to go there, take this opinion.

Our waiter - Carlos Dzul - was very helpful in making this a wonderful evening in Campeche. He helped us understand the menu and the local flavors. He also provided information about current events in Campeche. The restaurant is nicely decorated and has a relaxing ambiance. We tried the shrimp, squid, and the Mexican wine - all were wonderful. Thank... More

This has been arguably the best stop for food during our visit in Yucatan & Campeche. The restaurant is located in a busy street in the modern part of the city. The single room is modern in style and simply decorated. The place is an oasis in the middle of a very crowded and noisy  neighborough. After a series of... More

I find the Pigua a great place to eat everytime I visit; however, I always feel that my overall experience is not as good as the Pigua in Mérida. Especially in the dessert area, this Pigua needs a bit of work

The place tries to be more upscale than it realky is. The food is very good, try the Xcatic peppers filled with fish or the coconut shrimp. It is expensive as you may find the same quality food all over the city for half the price.

Our guide steered us here as the best seafood restaurant in Campeche. Since it is the only restaurant in Campeche where we ate, I cannot say that definitely. I was expecting WONDERFUL WOWZER. So not sure if my expectations were too high but it was just good. We had salads, fish and split a dessert. Service was good, clean restaurant... More

great little restaurant located just outside of the walled center. Great seafood, we had the octopus in its own ink and the seafood salad. Both were great but the Seafood salad was probably the best I've ever had. fresh and tasty. Come here and try it!
