If you order the Pompano Veracruze--excellent. Shrimp dishes very small---no side dishes included for the price--very lovely setting

I had a quick lunch with my family in this place and the food was super tasty and of a very good quality. The service was very attentive and impeccable. I like the amouse bouche offerer upon arrival; a Mexican style shrimp bisque. We also had a seafood salad for sharing as the portion was very generous and my self... More

This was a birthday celebration and we were not disappointed. we had a superb meal with very professional service; the camarones al coco were outstanding. It proved to be a tiresome walk from the historic centre, with very difficult roads to cross - so take a taxi!

I was dying for shrimp. I saw people eating coconut shrimp at several restaurants, but I do not like to eat fried food. So the last meal of my trip was to La Pigua, and boy oh boy did that make me happy. I ordered Shrimp Marjoram as an appetizer, a green, green salad for a second course, and marinated... More

...for less money. My wife and I each had dinner, shrimp entres, a nice bottle of Sauvignon Blanc, and dessert for under $50 US. Service was excellent. We were there at 6:30. Got in w/no wait.

Sorry not to rate the food as it was highly recommended to us, but the prices led us to enjoy a beverage and dine else where

We enjoyed our meal at La Pigua in Campeche--we ordered two differently prepared fish filets: one in green sauce and one empanizado. Both were well done and service was very good, if formal.

Even though we had to wait for almost an hour the service and food where excellent. Coconut shrimp are good and the ambience was excellent. Good place for a nice local meal but a bit pricey I believe.

We arrived far past lunch time, and still waited over an hour for a table, but de died to do so because everybody we know told us not to miss this place. Once inside, we were surprised to find an impersonal warehouse ( this is the most elegant and expensive restaurant in the city) We started with fresh crab hands,... More

We had trouble locating the restaurant, but had a very enjoyable meal. It was great to eat something other than tacos. The prices were expensive for Mexico, but not by Australian standards. Thr coconut prawns were excellent
