Severe food poisoning...

Everything started off well, a couple of people, locals, recommended I try Marganzo. The service was playi she, nothing specially. As a vegetarian they have 3 options only, but lots of fish and meat options. I went for the bee trees, goats cheese and walnut entree, which was very nice. I also had... read more

We were very hungry when we sat down to a late lunch in the Marganzo restaurant and were very pleased with the speedy service and good Mexican food. The restaurant seem to attract a good mix of locals and tourists and is very well placed

We had good service and great food at reasonable prices, and my wife and I are frankly very picky about restaurants. The next time we are in Campeche we will definitely return to Marganzo.

Based on our hotel recommendation and TripAdvisor reviews, we tried this place twice. Our first lunch was pork and chicken. Pork was too dry, chicken dish was ok (not good and not bad). We wanted to give it another try. I ordered lime soup and ceviche, and my wife ordered Pan de Cazon. Her dish was o.k., but mine were... More

My family and I went to Marganzo for lunch. The restaurant was suggested on our guide and we tried to try it: we weren't disappointed at all. Reasonable prices and fish is absolutely recommended! Only complaint the dessert: we had a flan (creme caramel) and a coconut cream, both quite disappointing

Have been here for dinner. Fatty and tasteless food. Very unfriendly service And much overpriced for what You get. Avoid this restaurant.

In a prime location, this is apparently a mainstay and we had heard it might be touristy or past its prime. But we had a great dinner with a thoroughly modern and delicious beet appetizer and then two innovative and tasty fish filet entrees. One warning: They may say they're open until 11 but things in Campeche shut early and... More

Went three times, first was great, second good except the manos de cancrejo (crab claws, overcooked, bland, frozen and overpriced). Third visit not so much

We ate here twice because the food was so good, not to mention the tamarind margaritas which were awesome. The latter are complimentary and had me ordering more. Don't be put on by the frivolous costumes worn by the wait staff - this is not a tourist trap. There is some interesting regional food on the menus and a lot... More

Excellent service and food especially the lemon chicken. More than willing to meet dietary needs when quiet. You can sit outside or through the doors in the air conditioned dining room. The main male waiter speaks good english. They give you excellent after dinner drinks (free - 1 per person). If we were staying in Campeche longer we would go... More
