In a prime location, this is apparently a mainstay and we had heard it might be touristy or past its prime. But we had a great dinner with a thoroughly modern and delicious beet appetizer and then two innovative and tasty fish filet entrees. One warning: They may say they're open until 11 but things in Campeche shut early and... More

Went three times, first was great, second good except the manos de cancrejo (crab claws, overcooked, bland, frozen and overpriced). Third visit not so much

We ate here twice because the food was so good, not to mention the tamarind margaritas which were awesome. The latter are complimentary and had me ordering more. Don't be put on by the frivolous costumes worn by the wait staff - this is not a tourist trap. There is some interesting regional food on the menus and a lot... More

Excellent service and food especially the lemon chicken. More than willing to meet dietary needs when quiet. You can sit outside or through the doors in the air conditioned dining room. The main male waiter speaks good english. They give you excellent after dinner drinks (free - 1 per person). If we were staying in Campeche longer we would go... More

Restaurant with typical regional dishes. The food is excellent and well presented and the service is very kind. Very good peppers stuffed with shark. Slightly pricey, but worth trying. Try it!

This old standby in Campeche has a warm environment with friendly staff. My fish filet was just average. Next time I will order the specialty--coconut shrimp!

We had a delicious lunch at Marganzo. Service was friendly and we enjoyed our sopa de lima (chicken soup flavored with lime) and fish filet (prepared Vera Cruz style). The restaurant environment is comfortable and attractive and the back room is air conditioned.

We just walked in and found the most delicious food we encountered on this trip. We ordered two different fish filet dishes. They simply melted in your mouth and left you longing for more. We went back for the same dishes three days later. They were still as delicious as we remembered. The service was exceptional. The decor was lovely.... More

Frankly, I started to doubt the real value of travelers' reviews after having had a misfortune of having a new year dinner at that place. To start with, the food was way below average. Slimy greenish paste and equally greenish mashed fishy substance they offer as a complimentary entree were almost enough for us but we decided to give it... More

This is a very touristic restaurant where food is a reggae and service is bad. The manager treat us badly because we where a party of 12! We are good business but because they where full they decided to reject us. We went back the next day with a reservation and device was still very bad. Food is ok but... More
