Delicious seafood and cocktails

Known for its seafood, we saw a lot of locals there which is always a good sign, and the menu is in both Spanish and English. We were brought a bowl of nachos to start which is common everywhere but this time instead of just salsa, which is usually provided with the nachos, we had a plate of spicy... read more

Went here for breakfast. Lovely costumes, nice surroundings. But the food was just off. Not spoiled, just not tasty. Orange juice was sour, coffee was weak, fruit was not ripe, bread was poor quality, refried beans were odd. The chaya eggs were so-so and the hot cakes were fine. Attention to the food was just not there.

We read about this place in the Lonely Planet guide and searched it out for dinner but were disappointed. Very undercooked fish dishes with no flavour, a seafood cocktail which was passable but tasted a bit like watered down ketchup. At one point some wandering minstrels came in and serenaded anyone who would pay but it was so loud you... More

Try the coconut covered giant shrimp! Also the local food dishes. Excellent service and great location.

We had a pretty decent seafood meal. Nothing to rave about but the service was great! The location is within the Unesco World Heritage Site. We splurge and got the mobile band/singers to play a couple of songs for us. Affordable menu. Mostly tourists. Worth at least a try!

We enjoyed a well cooked meal at a reasonable price; the menu was both in English and Spanish. We were offered a free drink after our meal. Local musicians/singers also attended - we declined their performance.

I had a three course meal and everything was below average. The vegetables were bland, so was the fish. For this price go somewhere else. Seriously...

After reading the reviews my husband and I came here for dinner. The place was busy enough and still we were promptly seated and our drinks orders taken. I ordered coconut shrimp and my husband fried tacos with chicken. We were to share a parmesan salad. As drinks we had a margarita and a beer. Now as good as service... More

Ate here twice in 1 week, convenient location to hotel. Food was very good, especially the beet carpaccio appetizer. Ceviche was not flavored to my liking, and they took it back with no issue. Tried half a dozen dishes over the two visits, and everything was delicious. Loved the panuchos, traditional Yucatan-peninsula stuffed-tortilla dish. Indoor and patio seating available, air... More
