Resturant has two menus either a la carte or set menu. We ate from the set menu which included half bottle of wine cost of 15 euro. The food was excellent and typically Spanish we even got offered the steak which was not on the set menu and ask for pepper sauce which they had no issue in providing. I... More

I had out this on before, but does not appear on here. Revisited this restaurant again after some time as it has recently been taken over. First mistake we made was going on a Saturday night, the second mistake was staying! The menu at €18.50 with no wine included was top end price, and low end choice. The starters were... More

Visited with 4 persons and went for the "menu del dia" , a 3 course menu for 15€, with aglass of wine included. God choice for each course, food was very well prepared, and better quality than expected based on price. Nice armosphere, and a waitress who spoke a bit English,, and was very helpfull. We visited this restaurant 3 years ago and were not impressed and had never returned. We heard it had a new owner and management within the past 4 weeks, so we decided to give it a try. We were celebrating my father-in-law’s birthday, so it was a special evening. We were greeted with smiles and a promise of a good... More

Small authentic restaurant with lovely Spanish owner who doesn't speak a word of English! Very slow but worth the wait if you have the time as good tasting reasonably priced food

4 of us went to the annual circus (Jamaica Circus) in Benitachell last Monday and needed to eat afterwards, Monte Verdeo is a place we have been to a long time ago, but seems to have lost its way in the last few years. It was close by and open! We were the only guests, but were welcomed warmly and... More

It was the first time in Spain for myself and my children and we wanted to try a traditional Paella. Even though it wasn't on the menu, the chef offered to cook it for us. A beautiful large pan of Paella was served up. The service was excellent and the cost incredibly reasonable.
