It doesn't get better than picking out your fresh catch straight from the trap! And, the creole rice was fantastic. Right on the beach. Ferry over and check it out. Check to see if cruise ships are in port before you go. We went on a Monday, when none were, so it was quiet. No need to reserve those lobsters... More

One day in the beginning of December we took a ferry ($10 or 10 Euro p/p round trip) to Pinel Island. We came to parking at 10:35, ferry was at 11 am. Last ferry coming back from Island was at 5 pm. It takes 5 min to get to the island. There are 2 restaurants that offer food and beach:... More

The location is perfect, next to the cristal clear water of Pinel Island where you have a nice view while are you eating. The staff is very friendly and careful with you, the food is tasty, fresh cooked. A lunch for 2 persons costs between 70-100 usd.

We spent the the last day of our vacation on Pinel Island at Karibuni. Javier was our server. He hooked us up with sample drinks and shots. We had the ribs, calamari, spring rolls and shrimp kabobs. The food was amazing and service on time. The cost was a little high but worth it for the experience. Also bring you... More

Karibuni isn't the easiest to get to -- you have to take a boat to Islet Pinel ($7.00 or €5.00 round trip for a 5-minute ride) -- but it's worth the trip. When you get off the ferry, there will be a restaurant right in front of you, but that's not Karibuni. (I'm sure the other restaurant is fine too,... More

Very good food and drinks at a very reasonable price in one of the best beaches in Saint Marten We went there twice and both times we had very good food and service. The atmosphere is great and the views outstanding. The isle is certainly worth a visit and crossing to the other side (a short walk but you should... More

Can't be the location. Food was a little above average. Is quite expensive and they run out of food alot, understandably so since they boat it and in out to the island each day.

There are two restaurants on Pinel Island. We chose Karibuni, because of their beautiful location. Tropical palapas dotted alongside the beach just adds to the experience. It is a true tropical island restaurant. The staff have to boat the food in and out each day. We were not disappointed. The shrimp salad with tropical fruits, local trunk fish stuffed with... More

Located on little Pinel Isle, Karibuni serves restaurant quality dishes in a idyllic island hut setting. The food is fresh and the lobster is likely caught earlier the same day. Any visit to St Martin should include Pinel Island and Karibuni!

OMG. It can be pricey - but it's worth it. They keep the lobsters in a cage, in the water at the side of the dock. You pick what you want and pay by the gram. It is sooooo well prepared. My husband and I shared a big one which they will split for two with sides. And we had... More
