Food was excellent especially the dressing of an exotic salad. Big dishes and lovely atmosphere. Service was a bit chaotic but few of the waitresses saved the day.

Spent the day on Pinel Island yesterday with my family. What a great place! I had lunch at Karibuni with my husband and 2 young children. It was very good. The smoked fish in the salad I ordered was very tasty and smoked at the restaurant. My husband had a fish burger which he enjoyed very much as well. Service... More

We now have a tradition in St Martin. We have visted Islet Pinel and Karibuni 3 years in a row and still love it! Karibuni is located just a short walk through the trees from the ferry dock. Fabian is the rasta looking guy that takes his serving job very serious at Karibuni. He always greets us with a smile... More

After a quick 20 minute water taxi from one beautiful island, St Martin, over to Pinel Island, we found ourselves on a little sliver of paradise. The restaurant served a super fresh salad and a decent lobster salad. The view was so relaxing, tropical, and fun. Most definitely worth the trip.

We were staying on the Dutch side of the island and made a special trip to Pinel one day. After a short ferry ride in what was basically a pickup truck on the water, we arrived at Pinel island and this is one of the two restaurant options on the island. The views are absolutely stunning with their proximity to... More

Restaurant Kari Buni on Pinel Island is the best seafood experience on St Martin! 1st you get to pick your lobster from a the lobster trap they have secured in the ocean. Then you walk over to the grill and can watch them prepare the lobster in just minutes! Lobsters are garnished with a wonderful garlic butter sauce then wrapped... More

My wife and I were staying at the Radisson Blu in near by Anse Marcel and we are told by locals to visit Pinel Island and it was not a disappointment. We tried the Trigger Fish, which was deliciously fresh. The views are amazing of the crystal clear waters. The chef even caught lobster off the near by dock. Great... More

My husband and were staying nearby in Anse Marcel. We had been told to go to Pinel Island which is a small island a 10 minute boat ride away. On the island we saw two restaurants back from the beach. We went to the second one Karibuni. We had a table undercover but with a view of the beach and... More

We had a great meal here. The menu is imaginative and the waitstaff is quite professional, aiming to please at every turn. Their French fries are so good we ordered 3 plates of extras for the table. Wine list is quite good. Rest room is a pretty good hike and cannot be walked barefoot without discomfort.

Our service and food was superb on day one. The cevechi was the best anywhere and the burgers (mahi mahi and cheeseburger) weren't too shabby either. Day 2, the server must have been a trainee and not too organized, but the food was still over the top.
