This place should be on everyone's island bucket list. Its unbelievably beautiful. Located on Pinel Island, it is in its own little world that you can only get to by boat/kyak. We came by private boat, anchored and walked ashore (shallow water). The tables are little grass huts and the food is fantastic. I had the lobster which is caught... More

This Island alone is amazing ! But to get great food for lunch is such a bonus! They let you linger and relax never rushing you. The fish is the freshest, and the lobster they pull right out of the ocean! Then they bring you their home made Banana Vanilla Rum , what more could you ask for !!! Best... More

My husband ended up with food poisoning after eating here last weekend. The tartar sauce was probably the culprit.

We celebrated our Anniversary here with a trip to Pinel Island and Lobster from Karibuni Restaurant. We went with waiter to a cage at the dock and each selected a 1 KG (2.2 lb.) lobster. They took it up to the cook who split and cleaned it then grilled it on outdoor grill. Because it was so large there was... More

We recently stayed on St. Martin for a week, and on our last day on the island we decided to kayak from Cul de Sac to Pinel Island. The whole experience was fantastic! We rented beach chairs and an umbrella on the beach in front of Karibuni, ordered a few drinks, and explored the island. We made a reservation for... More

Karibuni on Pinel island is only open for lunch time and only accessible by boat which makes this place unique and not crowded (we went during the week). The place is just magic. The owner succeeded to keep the place really natural, everything is made by wood, the toilets are dry toilets and there is an explanation how it works,... More

The restaurant was very busy- make a reservation and don't expect speedy service just sit back and enjoy the food as it is excellent. You can only get here but taking a boat to Pinel Island and the restaurant is only open for lunch.

When visiting Pinel Island we prefer Karibuni over the other venue. Food is good. As a regular visitor I have however noticed the hike in price of the boat trip to the island, from 5 to 7 to now 12 dollars a head, and hike of price for the beach-chairs and umbrella. You are out of pocket a little under... More

This restaurant is located on Pinel Island. What a great place to sit back and take in the ocean, the sun and the people. We took the ferry over and spent the day sitting on this beautiful beach with great service from the staff. I had a burger which was pretty good. The guys at the restaurant were great in... More
