Best calamari I've ever had

Nice little place. Great view. Great staff. I would generally follow the "bar food" rules here for the most part. Only two exceptions. 1) They do have fresh lobster in a cage off the dock. 2) I eat a lot of seafood, and they ave the best calamari I've ever had...ever. It's not fried, more sauteed... read more

We always eat at Karibuni for lunch on our St Martin trips. This time we actually went twice. The food is wonderful. So fresh, cooked right on the BBQ. The crew on a sail charter we were on recommended the lobster lunch at Karibuni which we had never experienced. Although a bit pricey, it was wonderful. Great service as well.... More

We took the ferry out to Pinel Island to have lunch. There are only 2 options. This restaurant has the option of sitting at individual tables with thatched "roof" or long tables near the bar area. We were seated at a thatched roofed table. It was very hot and very little breeze is allowed to pass into the table. The... More

We had a day on pinel island just chilling in the flat waters on the white sand beach. Of 2 eating places there, one did beach bar basics, pizza, burger etc so we went for Karibuni. Their menu changes each day and the food is so fresh. A touch of French cuisine on the beach. Flavours were amazing. They had... More

This place should be on everyone's island bucket list. Its unbelievably beautiful. Located on Pinel Island, it is in its own little world that you can only get to by boat/kyak. We came by private boat, anchored and walked ashore (shallow water). The tables are little grass huts and the food is fantastic. I had the lobster which is caught... More

This Island alone is amazing ! But to get great food for lunch is such a bonus! They let you linger and relax never rushing you. The fish is the freshest, and the lobster they pull right out of the ocean! Then they bring you their home made Banana Vanilla Rum , what more could you ask for !!! Best... More

My husband ended up with food poisoning after eating here last weekend. The tartar sauce was probably the culprit.

We had the absolute best day in Pinel Island . There are two restaurants to choose from when you get there and Im Glad we chose this one. Service was great, Fabian was friendly and attentive. Considering this is a little island, prices were very reasonable too. Specially if you have small kids this is the place to go. Water... More

We celebrated our Anniversary here with a trip to Pinel Island and Lobster from Karibuni Restaurant. We went with waiter to a cage at the dock and each selected a 1 KG (2.2 lb.) lobster. They took it up to the cook who split and cleaned it then grilled it on outdoor grill. Because it was so large there was... More

We recently stayed on St. Martin for a week, and on our last day on the island we decided to kayak from Cul de Sac to Pinel Island. The whole experience was fantastic! We rented beach chairs and an umbrella on the beach in front of Karibuni, ordered a few drinks, and explored the island. We made a reservation for... More
