Popped in here on a cycle ride, decided on a crab baguette, what can I say, the filling was plentiful and the baguette was delicious, the other half had beef sandwich and he wasn't dissapointed. The service was excellent, we had 2 cakes for afters and the lady behind the counter offered to cut them up so that we had... More

Wonderful little bakery, tucked away, serving lovely freshly baked warm bread and the most devine Cornish pasties

Myself and a friend visited Aunty Mary's today. We were looking, rather randomly, for somewhere to get a Kipper sandwich. Aunty Mary's didn't do them, but alas! The SUPER helpful owner was incredibly friendly and despite our awkward request, she gave us a solution by recommending a place nearby to purchase Kipper's, and then offered to use them to make... We called in here when feeling very hungry needing a late lunch at 3.30 pm. Cafe up the road was closing so we came across Aunty May's. The owner was so friendly and cheerful and had just brought a beautiful selection of freshly baked foods to the counter. When I couldn't decide what to have she suggested a platter to... More

It used to make wonderful pork and apple and steak and Stilton pasties in the old days. Maybe not authentic but I loved them. Just another pasty and sandwich shop now. Might as well go to the bakers across the road or Warrens on the bridge.

Aunty May's is very nice ! The food is great and that paradise slice is amazing. The only thing i can fault is when they prepare the food they do not wear any gloves. They go by order to order without washing their hands. And when handing money they don't wash their hands either.
