We stopped in a shop in Newlyn to ask directions to a different pasty place we had liked in the past, and were strongly urged to try this one instead. Very grateful for the tip, because this was the best pasty I have ever eaten--and I've eaten them all over Cornwall. There was a lot of good-quality steak inside. The... More

I have been meaning to drop in here for a while, but made it today....finally, and it won't be the last time. Two lovely friendly Ladies who obviously take a real pride in what they do...and a very warm welcome too. There are so many amazing things on offer here to eat, you are spoilt for choice..... but what a... More

Dropped in here after reading reviews and not disappointed. A basic cafe to sit in and eat but friendly staff and the best crab sandwich and steak pasty we had had in Cornwall - cheaper than elsewhere too. Busy with locals - says it all!

The service was excellent, we had 2 cakes for afters and the lady behind the counter offered to cut them up so that we had... More

Myself and a friend visited Aunty Mary's today. We were looking, rather randomly, for somewhere to get a Kipper sandwich. Aunty Mary's didn't do them, but alas! The SUPER helpful owner was incredibly friendly and despite our awkward request, she gave us a solution by recommending a place nearby to purchase Kipper's, and then offered to use them to make... We called in here when feeling very hungry needing a late lunch at 3.30 pm. Cafe up the road was closing so we came across Aunty May's. The owner was so friendly and cheerful and had just brought a beautiful selection of freshly baked foods to the counter. When I couldn't decide what to have she suggested a platter to... More
