Good food at a reasonable price for Iceland

Food is very good and reasonably priced. Nice option if you're looking to avoid the overpriced hotel restaurants in the area. Tried the pizza and mozzarella sticks, good quality!

We came across this lovely café when touring some of the Eastern Fjords on a Sunday. A lot of places were closed on Sunday but this café was doing a brisk trade with very friendly staff and a wonderful seafood soup which ai would definitely recommend. The prices were also very reasonable. Altogether a very nice, unexpected surprise.

Came to visit two times and they had run out of food both nights. It was around dinner time and the place was full of drunk people.

Stayed in Faskrudsfjordur for two nights. Unfortunately found this on night two or we would have gone there twice. Great seafood soup and super pizza selections. Friendly atmosphere. Forget the fancy places, pick Café Sumarlina!

Nice family owned place - friendly with nice coffee and food - had the pizzas and they were good. Lots of tourists buses stop which make for a great set up for this place. Overall a nice place in a quiet 'fishy' town. A must stop town in the East IMO. And at least have a coffee here if you... More

They do have other foods than pizzas, you can get burgers, fish and meat main courses and starters like soup. It´s small and in an old house, and if you look for it, you can see that some parts of it is starting to need repairing but nothing serious, in my oppinion. Staff is always polite, smiling and you get... More

We called in on a rainy day looking for comfort and found it. The soup and bread we had were excellent. The burgers coming out for other people looked very appetising, it was the wrong time of day for us to sample the cakes but we were tempted. The service was great, our waitress courteously, and with a smile, answered... More

Family owned. The food was fresh and prepared with the fish being the main ingredient. The staff was courteous and kind. The owner showed us pictures of Fosshotel, before renovations and gave us a history of the town. Very nice accompaniment to an outstanding dinner.
