Other reviews sum it up

Nice family owned place - friendly with nice coffee and food - had the pizzas and they were good. Lots of tourists buses stop which make for a great set up for this place. Overall a nice place in a quiet 'fishy' town. A must stop town in the East IMO. And at least have a coffee here if you... read more

Stayed in Faskrudsfjordur for two nights. Unfortunately found this on night two or we would have gone there twice. Great seafood soup and super pizza selections. Friendly atmosphere. Forget the fancy places, pick Café Sumarlina!

They do have other foods than pizzas, you can get burgers, fish and meat main courses and starters like soup. It´s small and in an old house, and if you look for it, you can see that some parts of it is starting to need repairing but nothing serious, in my oppinion. Staff is always polite, smiling and you get... More

We called in on a rainy day looking for comfort and found it. The soup and bread we had were excellent. The burgers coming out for other people looked very appetising, it was the wrong time of day for us to sample the cakes but we were tempted. The service was great, our waitress courteously, and with a smile, answered... More

Family owned. The food was fresh and prepared with the fish being the main ingredient. The staff was courteous and kind. The owner showed us pictures of Fosshotel, before renovations and gave us a history of the town. Very nice accompaniment to an outstanding dinner.

Not much more to say, the titke kinda does all the work here. Had coffee and cakes. Quality was on par from what you would expect from a decent, or so, coffee house. The portuons were smaller than one has grown to expect and the price was way high.

We stopped here out of necessity, there's nothing else nearby, but we're really pleasantly surprised! Lots of menu options, food was pretty good, and service was great. They didn't have what we ordered but the waitress was very sweet and we chose something else and she packed up the leftovers for us. Good basic food and a nice change from... More

I wish I had ordered enough to have leftovers. Friendly family owned place with some knit items for sale. Extensive menu. Enter through the upstairs in back

Very good restaurant with great selection of food. Both times we had our table facing the fjord, so we could enjoy magnificent views while eating. Very authentic and cozy atmosphere, we had two meals there and both were delicious and cooked to order (we could hear chef cooking in the kitchen).

I think that if we had not been vegetarian, we would have liked this place a lot more. A little corner of France in the middle of the magnificent Icelandic mountains. The welcome was very friendly, and no doubt, the fish was great. But we were limited to a couple of pizzas, and they were pretty bland.
