Great food, amazing view, but too noisy and understaffed!

The quality of the food and modest prices are unbeatable and the location is stunning (modest facilities, but amazing view). But it was not a relaxing experience, as the friendly staff was clearly overworked and the noise level was unbearable; on top of the loud chatter from a large crowd... read more

The quality of the food and modest prices are unbeatable and the location is stunning (modest facilities, but amazing view). But it was not a relaxing experience, as the friendly staff was clearly overworked and the noise level was unbearable; on top of the loud chatter from a large crowd, unecessarily loud and tasteless music blared through the loudspeakers (forunately,... I have been looking to come here for a long time through some friends recommendations. They have both German specialities as well as creole food ("comida criolla"). However, we came here only to try the German specialities and left very disappointed. The German specialities plates are not even average :( If you a looking for a good beer, this seems... More

Came here with my family for the first time in years. I was surprised with how the place looks as I don't remember it looking as nice as it does now. We bought 1 of nearly every dessert they had (we are a huge family) and all of them were fantastic. Can't wait to come back for dinner!

OK, I am a creature of habits and traditions. One the Sunday before Christmas I always go with a Puerto Rican friend to the Fiesta de los Talladores de Santos de Palo in Orocovis. The road from San Juan to Orocovis takes us on Route (Carretera) 155 directly past Casa Bavaria. The route back takes us past it again. Depending... More

Food was great, the beer was fresh and good. Nice view, excellent service, great prices. One of my favorite places to go when I am in PR.

Excellent outdoor family restaurant. Great service, affordable prices, and heavenly taste with a awesome and refreshing view...the beers are so good.

This place is in my hometown, Morovis, and I've been going here since it opened. If you want to get crazy drunk for a relatively cheap price, or if you want to see teens going crazy like its spring break, come to Bavaria in October, you won't regret it. That being said, you can come the rest of the year... More

Terrible service! The waitress and manager did not address the fact that two persons in our table never got their food. The service is the slowest I've ever seen. Excuses and excuses and excuses for a poor and sloppy service. First time and last time.

Good view. Average food, German and Portorrican, Service is one of the best we reckon. Not the best food presentation, particularly the German food. Maybe because we went in a weekend the parking situation was awful. A little far from the metro area (an hour and a half) in a tricky road. Wont repeat.

I've been visiting PR for about 24 years now. I've been visiting the Casa Bavaria for about 15 years. Although in the past it has always been more crowded, this place never disappoints. First the food. The best food on the island. Whether you choose German, Creole, Puerto Rican or seafood nothing coming out of this kitchen will ever go... More
