Description: African tribal artefacts and other ethnic memorabilia add a touch of exoticism to this open-plan restaurant four miles south of Norwich. This Wildebeest is a thoroughly modern animal, with its elegant style, polished floors, blazing fire and raft of contemporary Dishes.
The regularly changing, seasonal and local sourced menu includes dishes like: Chilled Verrine of Cromer Crab, Lobster Bisque, Samphire and Pea Volute to start and to follow Rump of English Lamb with Creamed Potatoes, Spinach, Sauteed Garlic, Trompete de la Mort, Peas and a Red Wine Reduction and for the sweet tooth Vanilla Pannacotta with Crisp Shortbread, Norfolk Strawberries and Strawberry Ice Cream.
All this is complemented by an impressive wine list with wines from all over the world, a good selection of Beers and very efficient service.
