Rissotto

We went to burano to eat rissotto di pecce, and we were not dissapointed, it was the best rissotto ever, but the porsion was in the smaller side.

We just loved this place as it capped the breathtakingly beautiful trip to Burano. Seems to be family run and the food was an absolute italian delight. We devoured the food and wanted for more. A must visit in Burano!

I hate to write a poor review, I really do. However, we've just had such a terrible experience at this restaurant that I feel the need to warn everyone off it! Dreadful service. We were seated at a table then ignored for 20 minutes. I asked three separate waitresses for the menu - but never received one. The couple on... More

We loved the friendly, cozy atmosphere of this family run restaurant. The food was perfect, the service very fast and personal, with a touch of humour which makes Italy what it is. The location makes this little gem of a place very easy to find, on the main square. A lunch to remember! Grazie!

This family run restaurant is a fabulous place to have lunch during your day-trip to the island of Burano. From Venice, the vaporetto water bus line # 12 will take you to this small island with colorful buildings and shops that sell their intricate lace work. While we were there, we stopped in the Trattoria da Primo for lunch and... More

This place is an absolute must for a lunch in Burano. The lobster and Sebring fish were out of this world. The desserts were also freshly made. Burano has 3,000 inhabits and this restaurant is owned by a family of 50+! Father picks all the vegetables from his garden on the next island over and buys the seafood daily fresh.... More

I was disappointed with the service (we were kind of ignored for bigger tour groups, and when our waiter finally did talk to us, after laughing and joking with the groups, he was very abrupt- and we are very pleasant and polite!!), and my 12 euro salad was probably one of the most unimaginative salads I have ever encountered. I... More

We had lunch here on a visit to Burano. The service was excellent and friendly. The typically Venetian calves liver was good, but I have had better. My wife's pasta vongole was very good. We had Burano biscotti with a dessert wine afterwards and the biscuits were exceptional!

We came across this restaurant whilst visiting Burano on a short day trip. It was surprisingly excellent... Food, wine and service. The waitstaff are so pleasant, but not intrusive. Middle pricing, but especially wonderful sea bass filleted at the table. The freshness wast memorable.

The last time we were in Burano we ate at Al Gatto Nero. But it was completely booked for lunch. So instead we went to Trattoria da Primo at the recommendation of a native of the island. What a wonderful choice. I have to say that the meal was even better than what we had at Al Gatto Nero two... More
