Went there after visiting Murano and Burano, ordered a seafood platter to share which was really good, then wanted to try their risotto because we already were planning to eat pasta for dinner but were extremely disappointed when they weren't able to serve us such plate. We had Tiramisu which was home-made and also excellent. Might have to go back... More

Only come here if you like fish or sea food - I'm not sure this would be a good choice for a vegetarian. We loved the vivid coloured houses of Burrano and w loved this restaurant with its very friendly welcoming staff. Despite being incredibly busy they made us feel special. Make sure you book in advance or have flexibility... More

How wonderful to get away from the OKish tourist taps of the main island. Recommended to us by both Murano glass and Lila's lace and museum on Burano. Superb fish and full of Italians. Not cheap but good value for money. We had excellent service but we were delivered to the restaurant by a local! We just wish we had... More

I've always loved Burano, it's small, quaint, quirky, colourful, and now I Have another reason to love It: it has a fab restaurant too. It takes at least forty minutes to get to Burano by bus, and it took us at least twenty minutes to find this little restaurant but it was so worth it (we didn't have a map... More

If you like fresh local fish cooked to perfection , this is your place! Everything was fantastic, very good wine selection, reasonable price for Venice. Keep in mind this is a fish restaurant , probably one of the best in North of Italy!

You just need to wait for a sunny day then rush at Burano island ASAP for a early morning visit. Try it during low season (much less tourists) then stop at Al Gatto Nero for lunch & let the waiter guide you, Ask for the special of the day or for the soft shell crab... They make me discover a... I'm not a relative... just a big fan. We just ended adoring these guys.. Ruggero came to our table to make sure he understood what he wanted so he could cook just right... amazing guy. We spent almost 20 days in Italy and this was, for sure one of the 2 best meals we had (the other was at Osteria... More

I went to this restaurant without any reservation. Silly me. Fortunately, luck was on my side. I reached the restaurant at 1pm and the staff is kind enough to offer me a reservation on 130pm which I duly accept. Came back half an hour later and I picked Burano-style risotto and fried king prawn. Truly delicious. The fried prawn is... More

Best fish soup - probably in any restaurant. Good service, authentic environment, fantastic walk to the restaurant in the super charming Burano area. Food really authentic, great ingredients and flavor.
